No stomach upset!

I am writing this review mainly to help out those who are looking for a good C8 oil that does not upset the stomach or cause the so-called "disaster pants." Every body is different, but I have been on the ketogenic diet for over a year and have tried various coconut oils and MCT oils. I can say that the ones that did not cause stomach distress also did nothing for my energy levels or concentration, nor did they seem to contribute to my being in ketosis or not. The ones that DID cause stomach distress, DID help facilitate ketosis and DID increase my energy levels and concentration/brain power, if you will. The stomach distress won out and I eventually gave up on the MCT oils. Then I came across this product. I read the reviews, searching for stomach distress, and only came across one or two that addressed the issue, hence the reason I am writing this review. The first two days, I took one teaspoon, with no ill effects. Day three, I took 2 teaspoons with no ill effects and a definite increase in energy and my ability to concentrate and think. Day four, I took a tablespoon and had no ill effects and a better increase in energy and brain power. I can say that after one teaspoon of the other stuff , I did have energy, but also spent a lot of time in the restroom. Like I said, every body is different, so I would still recommend starting slowly, but I am happy to say this works for me and I have sensitivities and allergies to everything. That is part of the reason I am on this diet at all. Point being, Clean MCT oil is great.

Best price for pure C8. Quick shipping. Very effective. However, pure C8 MCT oil has a little under 7 net calories per gram and a tablespoon of mct weighs a little under 14 grams. So the total calories per tablespoon should be 93. As a result, either they aren’t careful with labeling or this isn’t pure C8 mct so I’ve switched to a different brand.

**On week 2 and I like it a lot. I never upset my stomach and I do recommend not taking the foil off the lid. Instead, poke a pin hole to pour the desired amount. I am happy with the taste (or lack thereof) I recommend the product in general. You get what you pay for.. QUALITY!

I am just beginning an intermittent fasting protocol, on top of going paleo which was making me super sluggish in the mornings. Which, as a programmer, was no bueno for my work. Ordered clean MCT and started adding a tablespoon to my coffee in the morning and boom! I’m awake and able to focus over a sustained period of time with almost zero food cravings for hours. For me not to eat until 11am or noon is a feat in itself, for me not to hardly notice that I haven’t eaten by 11am or noon is nothing short of amazing. Highly recommend.

As for texture/ flavor- there is a slight oily consistency to my coffee and a hint of a nutty flavor but it is not unpleasant by any means, I actually quite enjoy both the flavor and texture. Very subtle, but adds some body to my otherwise plain black coffee. Will definitely order again.

So the wife and I just started this keto diet thing about a week ago. I read all over the net that one thing you need to incorporate into your diet is MCT oil. So I started reading up on that and man, theres alot of options. I read about percentages, best use practices, warnings ect. I finally decided on Levelup clean MCT oil. I read that you should start off using smaller amounts than suggested to "get use" to the oil and how it interacts with your body, so we initially started off taking 1tsp 3 times a day in drinks. For me, I definitely felt the stomach hit the first day and a bit less the second day however my wife didnt have a stomach reaction at all. Day 3 I got "bold" and stepped it up to 2 tsp's and felt no more stomach hit than day 2, so later that day i took the plunge....went full tbsp :D So now i take 2 tbsp a day and have been a happy camper. I notice that I have lasting energy, Not like when u drink red bull, but more like im just not tired....at all. I know that this is also due to the ketogenic diet and being in ketosis, but this oil works hand in hand with that. It only took the wife and I a day and a half to get into ketosis after fasting 24 hours, then making bulletproof coffee to start our first day of eating in this way. I stand by this oil and will be a patron for years to come. Thanx level up! I will also like to try the protein powders in the line as well.

I've only used this brand, and only take one teaspoon a day with my morning decaf. I was 97.5 kilos and needed to lose weight. Entering ketosis is not easy but this really helped. By day two I was definitely producing ketones (buy some ketone sticks, you need them).
There is no discernible taste and a dessert spoon of the stuff in your coffee fills you up (whizz it in a blender, it goes really creamy).
Within a week I was doing an 18 hour fast, and, if you had told me I would be able to do that without chewing the carpet the week before I would have laughed out loud. I have since done a 22 hour, a 24 hour and a 27 hour fast.
I went to the doctor to get weighed today. I am now 88.3 kilos and I have lost 6 centimetres off my waist. They were amazed. Actually, so am I.
To be sure, it is not the only reason I have lost a lot of weight but it was an important part of the jigsaw.
By the way, if you are thinking of doing a ketogenic diet, go and see your doctor first. They will support you if they think it is appropriate.
