This review is of day 1 recieved. Cloned my game drive partition over to this new drive. Speeds are ok (pic 3) (pic 4+5 are for comparision vs my skhynix and predator drives) This drive fits with Heatsink inside my laptop, asus G513Qm (pick 2) and temps either stay at 48C during benchmark tests or pc was not detecting a change as per hardware monitor.

Related to title and Reason i removed 1 star: box says i got the JPR700 model, but crystalinfo and pc recognize it as a JPR600 .... So, did i recieved the right model ??... don't know, but for price i ok with the speed

Other thoughs: i would like to find out if the heatsink is available to purchase seprately, i like it better than the generic one on my predator drive..
Will update this review if i run into issues with it later.

Needs NTFS Formatting Before Windows OS Will Recognize It.

This will need NTFS formatting before your Windows OS will recognize it. It was sort of a pain on my end to go into Bios and change my load-up drives so I could format this LEVEN JPS600 2TB with Windows setup. So far - It works well ,nice for extra space on your PC. It’s very fast and can copy multiple large files in just a few seconds. I’ve had it for 2 weeks and put over 1 TB of data on there so far… - I’m not gaming or running a server, I only use it for storage. If I was running a server I surly wouldn’t buy cheap hardware like this and expect it to perform like I just spent a million bucks. I'm sure this may heat up and fail if you use it all the time..

I'll start with the only bad thing first. The packaging is so-so the sticky part holding the SSD is a tad too strong I had to remove it carefully (worried that I would break it removing it.)

Now the addition of the heatsink is a plus, and it's great for those that have motherboards that do not have them. With that said though it's best to use the one they give you ONLY if your motherboard dose not have one nor use it it your going to use a external enclosure. once you put it on it'll not come off easily so be aware of that.

Speed Wise it's as good as my Team 2TB NVME SSD model TM8FPD002T0C101, my Intel 660p 2TB, and most other budget friendly models from other companies. Game loading is still good, and compared to the latest Gen5 SSD being only 6-10 sec. faster on load times (1-5 for Gen4 SSDs) it's worth getting double the storage space with such a meager sacrifice in main loading screens wait times. (dose not affect in-game loading at all.) In fact for the price of the fastest Gen5 SSD (GIGABYTE AORUS Gen5 10000) you can buy two of these, and some more games on Steam.

Another thing this is perfect for is to buy a enclosure and make it a external drive. USB with 5Gbps to 20Gbps (3.0 up to 3.2 gen 2) can only do up to 625MBps (3.0) to 2500MBps (3.2 Gen2) so it's pointless to buy a faster NVME SSD for a External Drive instead just have a lot more storage making it perfect for data backups or as a Live OS drive (like Batocera wink wink.) Just as I said before if you plan to make it a external drive DO NOT put the provided heatsink on it. The heatsink will not fit most enclosures, and yes I tried.

Original equipment was a 1TB HD, and a 32GB mSATA, which - I think - was configured as a RAM cache for the hard drive. Backed up the OS to a USB thumbdrive, pulled the HD, swapped the mSATA (64 times bigger!), booted to the thumbdrive, restored to the new mSATA. She boots and runs a whole lot faster, and will certainly keep this box alive for a few more years.

Note that when you're poking around inside your machine, that mSATA is not the same as m.2. Don't buy the wrong chip.

I use it as a junk storage area for downloads, etc...the only problem I had was it did not come with the tiny screw needed to hold it to the motherboard so keep that in mind if you order it..otherwise fit and functionality are excellent and cheaper than similar drives at Best buy..

Upgrading my M1 Mac mini (comes with criminally small internal storage). So I bought an external USB hub/enclosure (Higbis, here in Amazon) with two ssd drive bays. I inserted a 1TB SATA ssd and this 2TB nvme ssd. Installed and formated in the enclosure, works fantastic. Actually gets dang near advertised speed. Been using for four months so far, and no issues.
Very happy with purchase and price for 2TB drive.

I added it to an empty slot in an entry level ASUS E210 notebook to increase storage from onboard 64GB. I bough the notebook for traveling and this allows me to take some of my extra data with me without using USB. It fits into an M.2 2280 PCIe slot but you have to supply your own screw to secure in place. Once installed it was recognized by Windows 11 but you will need to initialize with GUID partition table (GPT) and then create a partition of your choice using Windows Disk Management before its usable. Not sure if this is normal but I received one of the old look units which was secured to the inside plastic packaging with sticky tape. I will revise this review if I have any issues but so far everything is working as intended.

This product was estimated to arrive on December 5 to 8, but actually arrived on December 13.
But I'm not really in a rush, so it's still ok. But it was left on the front door on freezing temperature. I hope the components didn't get permanent damaged. Despite that I'm rating this product as 5 stars, as I installed it and it's working. Speed benchmark using Atto disk benchmark gave me 4.170 Gbps read and 3.973 Gbps write. Not near the 6Gbps read. But I also tested my other SATA drive it's close 4.2Gbps read and 4.033 Gbps write. I guess that's standard. Hopefully it last a long time for me. I did encounter some slight challenge on the mSATA drive before it worked. First of all it doesn't come with the 2 tiny cross screws which is required to lock the mSATA in place on the motherboard. I had to scavenge the 2 tiny screws from an old SATA harddrive that I was no longer using. (screws on the SATA pcb board, smaller than the SSD bracket screws) This can be a pain if you don't have the tiny screws. It may be hard to find, and you may have to visit a computer specialty/repair store to get these. Probably this product is geared more for people who are upgrading their existing mSATA SDD who will already have the screws on the motherboard vs people who are getting mSATA for the first time for the computer. Then, when I installed on the HP Elitebook Folio 9470m. I wasn't being detected in Windows. What I was able to figure out that recognized it by Windows was go into the BIOS, in the boot option select mSATA checkmark, go to security, select Secure Erase, select Notebook mSATA. You will get a warning that you have to turn off the acceleration feature of the Intel Smart Response Technology via the Intel Rapid Storage Technology. I didn't have Intel Rapid Storage Technology installed, so no extra step here. Anyways it's working, that's what matters, slightly less competitive pricing but it's a trusted brand. 5 stars. If it breaks in a short period of time, I will come back here to re-rate this product.
