What we have found is Levi's last, plus you know you are getting good denim, not pants, they're all made the same- no switching manufacturers, or suppliers, no fluxuating quality. We know exactly what we're getting, and more importantly they will last through at least, very minimum (barring the boy's doing things no jeans would survive) - 2 yrs with 1 boy to grow out of them. At the same time we've had more than a few jeans last through a few of the boy's until they are finally retired to play jeans (stains, and rips happen), or donated when our boys outgrow them! Good denim last years. Levi's are that kind of denim.
They're worth the money. In the end we save money, and time. Plus Levi's have so many different cuts (number) the boy's all find something they like. It's awesome that once we know what they prefer (how they like them to fit) we can get them in tons of colors! No searching around a store, or hoping the store has it in another color.
Here's another thing we've learned - the price of Levi's fluctuates- keep your eye's open. Sometimes it is just one color, sometimes the whole style. More the individual colors go on sale though.
Happy hunting! Lol!
Hope our experience, and our review was helpful!
Well, I have to wait and see, as I ordered another pair in a different colour because the first pair fits him rather good -- and it's been ages since I've found Levi's in the SLIM size, as now all I get when I look for his size (14slim) I get redirected to slimmer styles. Very frustrating, especially since they still carry HUSKYS in all styles, slim or not. Even on Levi's website (I was checking to see if they carry them. They do not.) But just now, as I looked at my orders, I came back to check out other colours, and for some reason I read the description, which I hadn't bothered to before. I know what my son wears in Levi's, so why should I? I think this might clear up the variances in sizes; the description says they are:. "Description
Inspired by the slim straight 514™ jean, this down-sized version has a close fit through seat and thigh as well as a hidden adjustable waist"
So it seems they may not be actual Levi's. I've posted the question, and I'll be waiting for the response. In the mean time, this might be the cause of the sizing issues, so I wouldn't blame Levi's just yet.
