Here's the deal - Shrink-To-Fit is a totally different beast. Almost every pair of pants I own are Levi's, and I KNOW my size. These are different because they will shrink the minute you first put them in water... the key is knowing how to shrink them correctly. You will need to order them 1" larger in the waist, and 2-3" larger in the inseam. Soak them for 20 minutes in warm (not hot) water. Then let them hang dry. When they are damp, put them on for an hour and wear them. Stretch, bend, do what you would normally do in a day's wearing. Then, hang them up to dry fully. If you do this, they will fit like a great pair of slightly stiff (Carhartt like) jeans. If you don't understand this process when you order, these jeans will not fit and you will be completely unsatisfied with your purchase. I am very happy with these jeans and am sure they will be a regular in my denim line-up. Enjoy!

If you have any other questions about Shrink-To-Fit jeans, the Levi's website also has further instructions that are straightforward, and easy to follow.
