I used to love Levi's, and have continued to buy both the rigid STF 501's, and pre-shrunk colored 501's over the years. But the last few pairs have been disappointing because of cheaper materials and construction, both of which seem to get worse with every new purchase.
Sorry, but after watching the quality go down (and prices go up) for over 50 years, for me it's time for a change. Younger buyers won't notice the gradual evolution/degradation from a truly top-shelf product to an overpriced, mediocre one. But we old-timers have watched the change, and I don't know any of my cohorts who is as happy with their brand new Levi's STF rigid jeans as they are with their older, well-worn ones.
My favorite thing about this vendor: these jeans come with a pre-printed price tag of almost $70 on it, and they are sold for that much at all the stores near me, so these guys sell these jeans a lot cheaper than most places.
