Product description

1. Package includes: flower pot (3.15in diameter, 1.4in height), base (5.3in diameter, 0.9in Height ). Please NOTE: the plant is not included.
2. Flower pot will automatically floating in the air with 360 degree rotating. Floating height: 1-3cm, determined by plant weight.
3. The flower pot will support a maximum weight of 0.44 lb (200 gram).
4. The base contains magnets and a rotating mechanism and is connected to the mains by an AC adapter
5. Perfect gift for indoor decoration. Ideally for small plant in home or office.
How to set up the plant:
1. Connect power, put the base on flat surface.
2. two hands hold the plant aiming the centre of the base. Slowly put the plant down towards the base.
3. When feel magnetic force pull or push the plant adjust the position properly to the centre of the base.
4. When feel the force disappears, keep the plant stable for 3-5 seconds. Then slowly loose hands until the plant stays by itself.
5. When failed just repeat above steps with patience.
6. If failed many times turn off the power let the base cool down. Then try it again.
7. Remember always take away the plant before turn off the power.

When setting up the plant, hold the plant vertically firmly.
Leave it when the plant finds the right position. Make sure it will not drop down towards the base.
1.Don't open the base which may cause damage.
2.Keep this product 20cm away from other electronic or metal items to avoid interfere.
3. Keep it out of touch of child below 12 ages.
4. Watering carefully. Remove any excessive water in the flower pot or base immediately when watering the plant.

Spins too fast; looks cheap

This was definitely a disappointment. The "wood" option is just plastic with is modeled to look like wood. Additionally, the plant spins constantly, but not at a peaceful, meditative pace. It whips around at approx. 45 rotations/minute....making it a bit of a distraction on my desk. Additionally, the fact that it plugs in - rather than being battery operated - is definitely a bummer. The plus is much more cumbersome than I thought it would be, and the cord isn't especially long, really limiting the use options. For $15, this would have been worth the price. But it was significantly more expensive than the quality I received.

Preposterously slow shipping directly from China.....

Item is smaller than pictured, and the faux wood looks good from a distance but is cheap plastic. The bowl does not have a wood grain inside it, so unless it's full it looks crappy. The problem with filling it is that if it is at all off-balance it will vibrate and make a horrible noise that annoys both you and your co-workers. Very finicky. A good buy at half the price, but this is a novelty I don't expect to have much longevity....

I'll try an air plant or fake succulent in it as other's have suggested, but soil will not work due to weep holes on the bottom of the pot, and watering it would be a disaster.

EDIT to original review: Changing review from 2 stars to 4 stars. Now that I've found the cause of the annoying hum and placed a permanent object in the float bowl, this is growing on me. If you're getting a dull hum or vibration, check to make sure that the surface the unit is sitting on isn't metal. My desk contains a large amount of metal, and it was interfering. Simply raising the unit on the same desk with a book made the dull vibrational hum disappear. I've had it plugged in non-stop for 2 weeks now and it's working just fine.

It's simply soothing. Can literally stare at it for hours as it defies gravity.

I figured it would be incredibly unstable, but it's actually so painless and easy to get it into place. You learn to feel the magnetic changeover as the base led's indicate when you have it just right. It does usually end up spinning, but seriously, I would consider that a feature/bonus. Not only does my plant float, but I get a complete 360 rotation view of it 24/7.
The one thing to watch out for is power loss, it drops like a rock shot out of a potato gun. Best to run it on a uninterruptible power supply (most serious PC users have one these days anyway).

The levitating pot arrived about a week ago and it works perfectly. It sits on a room divider eye-level shelf in a hallway near the front part of our house where it commands attention and so far it has gotten it. We have received favorable comments from family and guests. They are all, needless to say, fascinated by the levitation and the constant rotation of the pot with an air plant in it. We keep it going around the clock. We found it easier to do that than turning it on and off every day thereby having to reestablish the levitation each time we turn it back on which can be a little tricky to do. So far, so good!

Looks nice in the picture. What you really get is something made entirely out of plastic, and is so small that I'm not sure what will actually grow in it. The bowl is like 3 inches across. The whole thing looks and feels cheap and after paying 65 dollars for it I wish I could leave it zero stars.
