- Reviewed in the United States on June 29, 2025What I needed for the new box
- Reviewed in the United States on July 2, 2025Legrand was charging ~$15-~$20 for these, which is outrageous. Leviton provides a solid alternative that works exactly the same, for less than half the price.
These are pretty durable (it took pliers to remove them), but ultimately, they're still plastic, so don't be too rough with them.
The installation process is easy. The lock goes in first, then the pin, then you're done.
Great value, and I highly recommend these over Legrand.
- Reviewed in the United States on September 23, 2025Worried perfectly on my Legrand On-Q 42” cabinet!
- Reviewed in the United States on January 19, 2016[Update] So, reading directions is important. If you insert the base into your item first, then put the center piece in half way, everything works fine. Changed rating to 4 star from 1 star... Reading is hard. [/Update]
I am using these with the Leviton 49605-30W (the RF transparent ABS plastic one) and these pins make me want to punch my fist through the drywall I just tore up and repaired to put the enclosure in. They are horrid.
I can't even PUSH them into Leviton products to fit them into the enclosure. I tried by hand, and it won't budge, so I tried carefully using tools (plyers, etc) to push them in, AND THEY BENT.
If you're like me and thought these would be a great idea to have a module enclosure, forget it. I'm still searching for an alternative product because I refuse to drill holes in my enclosure when it ALREADY HAS HOLES IN IT. What's the point?
I'll be calling Leviton soon. I'm guessing the enclosure is thicker than standard metallic ones, but they should have taken that into consideration. I'll update if their answer is satisfactory.
- Reviewed in the United States on April 9, 2020Thanks to the previous reviewers that posted pictures of their installations. Before I bought these I first checked the actual holes stamped into the enclosure and it appears it is an industry standard with a diameter of 1/4 in. This product definitely works in non-Leviton branded media / network enclosures (WirePath for mine). Price is a bit high for these tiny pieces of plastic, but they are not flimsy and will definitely work with small L brackets from most hardware stores to hold up your equipment. As these push-locks are brand new, it may require a rubber hammer or extra force to have them work the first few times, but after that they work just fine.
- Reviewed in the United States on March 18, 2024I have a primex media panel so wasn’t sure if these push locks would work but they do. I figured the holes in the panel were standard sizes so took a chance and am happy I got these. However, the picture makes it seem like these have a flat enough head that I could easily slide them into the grooves of my router and modem to mount directly to the panel, but unfortunately the heads are too thick and do not slide into the grooves. This seems like a poor design choice as it would make these much more versatile.
So despite fitting into my panel, I’m going to have to get other panel racks and options for mounting my hardware, which is a shame. Oh well. At least I can secure anything with holes.
- Reviewed in the United States on August 14, 2024Had trouble finding push pins for my boats fuse panel cover at either marine stores or the boats manufacturer. Found these and they are essentially the same item and work well . I now have extras if any get snapped off or weather decay as they came in a 20 pack .
- Reviewed in the United States on September 8, 2017This is exactly what you need to secure items in your Leviton Structured Media Center. I need to disagree with the negative reviews that claim these are flimsy and don't fit standard Leviton panels. I had no issues. In my case, I used these with small corner brackets and thin Velcro strips I purchased from Lowes. Keeps equipment securely in place for a fraction of the cost of Leviton brackets and shelves. See picture.

Fits into Primex media enclosures. These pins stopped the idiot cable guy from putting random holes into my media enclosure when mounting electronics.

Matt C.Reviewed in Canada on October 13, 20253.0 out of 5 stars Not a Direct Screw Mount Replacement
I had thought these would fit the screw slot cut outs in my network equipment giving an easy mounting option. The head shape on this is not similar enough to a standard screw to work though.
Otherwise fits the panel well, and there are lots of accessories that do work with them
