These plugs (Leviton 515PV 15 Amp, 125 Volt, Grounding Plug, Yellow) were $2.85 delivered to my door. I run my Clarke Super 7R Floor Edger for several hours continuously and this plug never gets hot. Plus, I use 12 AWG cord for my sander, tablesaw, cut-off saw, which this plug accepts easily; some lesser plugs will not accommodate 12 gauge. I had to determine which plug I'd placed on the sander years prior because I knew I'd been happy with it. After more recently buying these, I continue to be happy with them as the quality still remains good.

I had to replace the plug end of a molded cord that frayed. This male plug end is as basic as it gets. It's 4 pieces (The male end, the housing and two clamps to hold the cord in place.) This plug end is not weather proof or weather resistant, so be careful where you use it. It's not a great outdoor plug. There are plastic barriers between the lugs, so you can get away with some outdoor wet use, but be careful when in bad weather conditions.Reviewed in Canada on March 24, 2018
It's well built, has NEMA identifications and standards (green set screw for ground, silver for neutral/identified, brass for hot).
For the quality, this is a great price. I paid around $7. Comparable plug ends at Rona and Walmart go for $10+ and aren't as good quality usually. These are also UL and CSA approved and stamped for use in Canada, so you don't need to worry about the quality.
