I'm surprised at the quality of this outlet. It's super heavy duty. The wire clamps are unique. You flip a piece and put the wire in, then screw it tight. Brilliant. The inlet for the wires is on the bottom, so I will have to mount mine upside-down, but that should be fine. The mounting screws came with it.
When you're putting the wires in, do not close the contacts first. Make sure you measure the phase 1 and phase 2 wires LONGER than neutral and ground by 1/2 inch. Otherwise, they will not go all the way in.
Once you insert the stripped wires in place, then flip the contact on top and push hard to get the top clip to seat, then screw it on.
The pic is of my installation along with 3/4id flexible conduit. This will also fit 1"id conduit as well.
It did tear my hands up a bit, which is my fault for not wearing gloves.
