I could not find any "2-Gang 1-Toggle 1-Blank Device Combination Wallplate" locally until after I purchased it on Amazon. Each model is a different price but on Amazon they are all over-priced from around $4 to $8 as of 4-2014. The 88006 I purchased locally was a $1.19 and it is thick and does not bend but, basically it's the same as the 88106 and 80506.
The 88006 says it is made in the USA, but says something else in Spanish about Mexico. The only thing wrong with the 88006 is the cutouts are not molded or trimmed nice and clean as the 80506, 80706 and others I have used, but will do fine and could be trimmed easily with a razor blade. The non-symmetrical screw layout looks odd so if your application allows, I recommend the 80706 or other similar thicker model with symmetrical screw pattern. I used it to cover an over-sized hole so I wouldn't have to repair sheetrock and paint.
The 80506-W 2-Gang 1-Toggle 1-Blank, Midway Size, Box Mount
measures 4-7/8in x 4-7/8in.
The 80706 and 88006 measure 4-1/2in x 4-1/2in.
I'm not sure of the exact size of the 88106 but, the specs say about 5-1/2in x 5-1/2in.
Bottom line - it works perfectly if this is what you need. While it's expensive compared to a standard plate, so what? It's not a standard plate! If you need this you have few choices.
Don't let looks be deceiving, you can use the blank on either side of the switch plate, just need to flip it over.
If they could improve anything, it would be to include more screws. Which is why, as much as I love this switch plate, I can only give it 4 stars.
Now I'm just going to say words like 2-gang 1-toggle and electricity so they'll allow my review.
Our electrician had just placed a "dummy" [that is, not connected] toggle switch in the other bay during our remodel]. However, the non-functioning dummy switch did sometimes confuse our guests. This "1-blank" cover is a more logical solution.
Well made [comparable to the wall-plates our electrician installed], and easy for a DIYer to install.

The wall plate served the purpose very well. The problem I had with the order is that there were no screws with the unit. Read morePublished 29 days ago by David L
Hard to find item so I ordered on-line. Looks ok but holes were a few millimeters out of line. Had to use a drill bit to enlarge them in the direction needed to make them work. Read morePublished 2 months ago by Customer

Worked great - I needed this to replace the two holed variety. It is nice and white and a good quality material. No issues.Published 3 months ago by Trista
Barely fit and was smaller than all my other 2-gang face plates. I had to put 2 screws at an angle to get it to work. Read morePublished 4 months ago by Michael
