The two USB charger slots are in a good place, easy to use. Total of 6A and it is split 2.5A max to each socket, should be enough to charge all phones or tablets. No fast charge, have to bring your own fast charger for that. Bright red indicator leds for USB sockets that are always on and turn blue when charging. Depending on the room, could be very irritating if you are trying to sleep.
Overall, nice travel product. Looks to be fairly durable and no parts to lose -- you always have all plug configurations with you. Minus 1/2 star for UK plug and Euro button possible problems. Minus 1/2 star for bright led lights that are always on.
That said, it has a very cheap feel to it. I haven't dropped it, but I don't expect it to survive being dropped more than once or twice. There is a slide to select US, and European plugs, and some prongs that pop out after pushing a button. It all has a very cheap, and somewhat feeble feel to it. I would be nervous to depend on this for an extended vacation through countries where I had to be switching this thing around all the time.
Second, this unit is ungrounded. If you plug a three prong power cord into the adapter only the hot and neutral lines are passed to the wall outlet. This may or may not affect you. Check the Users' Manual on your equipment.
That said, this is a cool little unit. It has a slide/pushbutton switch to select USA/Australia plug, European plug, or British plug. Sliding to the US/AUST position the familiar two blades pop out; using your fingers you manually rotate the blades between the angled AUST and parallel US positions. You then slide back to the Europe position and the US/AUST blades retract. Pushing the button in then causes the European prongs to partially pop out. You must manually flip the prongs into the fully extended position; this took more force than I expected. You must manually close the European prongs before you are able to slide to either the US/AUST or UK positions. You then slide the switch to the UK position and the thick prongs pop out. Between the prongs is a plastic "wedge" flipping that up creates the insulated 3rd pin for European outlets.
The adapter is small but not small enough. Depending on its orientation it may use up the space over one or two US wall or power bar sockets.
The unit also provides two USB charging ports. I sacrificed a USB cable and was able to confirm that a regulated 5 VDC at around 2.4 A was provided by the adapter.
This adapter will be in my travel gear for all future trips.
