I picked up a pair of Lewitt Matched Mics, so thought it would be prudent to check out Lewitt's stereo bar and the Rode version. My need is portability to do field recording, and ease of transport and setup was my primary concern. (I typically mount my A7c in between the recorder and the stereo bar.)
I like the Rodes' reference markings and the light weight (plastic) material. It is sturdy, and whatever anyone says about it, it will be hard to break unless you go out of your way to Hulk on it. The bar also comes with built-in spacers, making it convenient for an X-Y pattern. It is a bit longer than the Lewitt, which was a problem because it wouldn't fit my intended case. It is also double the cost.
The Lewitt bar is high quality, pretty light as aluminum bars go, and is a no-frills setup at half the cost. It is a bit shorter in length, which I preferred. You will need to get additional spacers for an X-Y pattern. I used the Rodes reference markings and my protractor to silver sharpie my reference points on the bar. Now my setup is quick and easy to replicate my settings every time.
I kept the Lewitt bar and liked the extra cash I saved over the Rode.
(The Rode is terrific, and I struggled with the idea of keeping it, but the form factor was my driving factor.)
