I now own 3 of these hard drives. I use them extensively for video production and have been very pleased with the speed, portability, and quality of connection. There's no chance of these coming accidentally unplugged or losing connection. IN general I'm not very cautious with these. I throw them in a bag and take off for the day. They boot up quickly and I haven't had any issues. The major con is they only have one port so you can't daisy chain them, however they do sell a 4 bay hub, which will allow you to access more drives simultaneously.
