About Lezli Robyn
Lezli Robyn is an Australian author, as well as editor and Assistant Publisher of Arc Manor, who lives in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, with her blue-eyed chiweenie, Bindi (which means "little girl" in several indigenous Australian dialects).
Since her first short story sale to Clarkesworld, Lezli has sold shorter-length fiction to over a dozen countries, to professional markets like Asimov's and Analog. She has been an Aurealis Award finalist for Best SF Story, a finalist for the Spanish Premio Ignotus Award for Best Foreign Short Story, as well as a finalist for the prestigious Astounding Award for Best New Writer. Lezli has also won the Catalan Premi Ictineu Award for Best Translated Story twice.
After making her two book sales to Phoenix Pick, Lezli was hired by its parent company, Arc Manor, in 2016 to become their Assistant Publisher. Since then she was named editor of their romance magazine, Heart's Kiss (no longer in publication), and is the current editor of the science fiction/fantasy magazine, Galaxy's Edge. She's also developmental editor for the Caezik SF & Fantasy and Caezik Romance imprints.
Her first solo short story collection, Bittersuite, will be published by Australian publisher Ticonderoga Press in 2023. In between trips to the beach and her day job, Lezli is also penning her first novel, In Her Wake, and a children's book with a yet-to-be-revealed artist.
She can be reached on Instagram and Twitter @lezli_robyn, and on Facebook as /Lezli Robyn.

Blog postWatching the 1978 version of the movie ICE CASTLES has always been an emotional experience for me. It has its faults, such as a problematic romantic relationship the lead character has that is portrayed as normal, but otherwise it is beautifully acted, with emotive music and dialogue. And that tough-love scene between the ice-skater protagonist and her mentor/coach (played by the amazing Colleen Dewhurst) after the former goes blind always brings me to tears….

Blog postThis is how my Christmas tree looks to me, showing how my eye condition affects my ability to focus and dramatically distorts how I see lights. I am the perfect example of how your life can change, quite literally, in a blink of the eye. I know it has taken me way too long to update everyone on the status of my eyesight following my eye surgery on March the 27th, 2020. I could say it was because I was not meant to use the computer for some time after the surgery (true), or because I was exp2 years ago Read more

An original anthology celebrating Rod Serling's landmark television series
When it first aired in 1959, The Twilight Zone was nothing less than groundbreaking television. Freed from much of the censors' strict oversight because of the show's classification as "science fiction," the 156 filmed episodes explored powerful and moving human themes—love, hate, pride, jealousy, terror—in their own unique style. The show has since inspired two revivals, as well as fiction, comic books, and magazines, and even a pinball game and theme park rides. Just as important, it sparked the imaginations of countless writers, filmmakers, and fans around the world, and is considered a seminal show for broadening the horizons of television.
This anthology will be an all-new collection of stories written in the vein of the original television show. Edited and featured and introduction by Carol Serling, the anthology will include brand new stories by science fiction and fantasy luminaries such as Whitley Strieber, Loren D. Estleman, Joe Lansdale, R. L. Stine, Timothy Zahn, and Peter S. Beagle, as well as writers from the original series, Earl Hammer and Harlan Ellison®, all in honor of Rod's incredible vision.
At the Publisher's request, this title is being sold without Digital Rights Management Software (DRM) applied.
"A satisfying sampler of solid stories from a team that rarely disappoints." Publishers Weekly
Multiple award-winning authors, Mike Resnick and Lezli Robyn, get to the heart of the matter in Soulmates, which showcases all the words they have penned together over their years as collaborators (with a bonus solo piece by each). Whether a robot, alien, some kind of supernatural being or human, rising above our prejudices and ignorance allows us to make emotional connections that can have a profound effect on our lives.
Each of these stories examine a facet of the simple, yet incredibly complex, concept of companionship. They will make you laugh; will make you cry…but most importantly they will make you look at the very basic notion of soul-mates in a different light.
"Standouts include…Mike Resnick and Lezli Robyn’s beautifully sad “Benchwarmer,” which takes us into the world of imaginary friends, and introduces us to one friend who simply can’t let go of the boy who created him."—io9
"That’s [Soulmates] the second story that will be considered by me for next year’s Hugos; this one in the Novelette category."—SFRevu
"In a classic example of cognitive estrangement, we learn the absurdity of our own cultural norms as seen by those on the outside…effectively played to humorous effect." (on :"Report from the Field")—SFSignal
The Big Questions of Life (and Death)
Can a killer’s basement blood-feast be a tax write-off (under Entertainment)? Not if Vlad the IRS agent nails him first in Heather Graham’s "Death and Taxes."
What does a pack of hungry she-wolves do to solve their man troubles? Ladies Night Out takes a wicked turn in "Dog Tired (of the Drama!)" by L. A. Banks.
How far will an elite call girl go to beat a murder rap? Stuck with a dead client in a luxury L.A. hotel room, she might strike a costly bargain with a woman of unearthly powers in Allison Brennan’s "Her Lucky Day."
Who actually writes those tabloid stories about Bigfoot? Meet a journalist of the unexplained (she’s 50 percent demon) and her boyfriend (he’s 100 percent thief), as they heat up a museum exhibition that’s also a soul-snatching battleground in "Lucifer’s Daughter" by Kelley Armstrong.

Are we alone in the universe, and if not, who else-or what else-is out there? Here are thought-provoking stories that explore such questions as: Do intelligent species invariably destroy themselves by nuclear war or ecological collapse? Are the sentient aliens that do exist just too far away? Do they exist in forms beyond our comprehension? Are they among us, but undetectable? These are just some of the possibilities explored by a stellar lineup of contributors.

Often ruthless in her techniques, the interrogator uses her telepathic and empathic abilities to assault his mind, to draw out any whisper of information that can give them a better idea of what—who—they are dealing with. But she isn’t prepared for the prisoner to defend himself with comparable talents, to disarm her with equally astute observations.
Chief Surveyor Forrest Brown might not be the best example of humanity, but he doesn’t have to be to show Keelarah what it is to be humane. As they get to know each other, the line between captor and prisoner blur, which begs the question: is having different origins a more important factor, or the ability to find common ground? What if mutual alienation leads to the most profound bond of all.
