I usually wear more expensive sunglasses, but since I am so prone to losing or breaking those expensive pairs, I decided to try these. Best sunglasses I've owned in years! They are lightweight and fashionable and block the sun perfectly. Everything does have a little blue tint to it when light is reflecting but that's no issue to me. I love how great these sunglasses are and the price is just too sweet of a deal not to get them!

Do sunglasses make you feel like a movie star they are my go-to glasses for everything when Amazon's first opened up I bought them and I must admit the quality has changed and decreased however after I first bought them I sat on them on Christmas morning and called into Amazon and they sent me a free pair to replace them it was so kind it was like Santa Claus arrived for me :-) when I got them they were in just a great quality so fun! Then not long ago a friend of mine left leaving his glasses and picking up mine accidentally. Instead of waiting to see him I decided to just order some more and they were a bit more expensive but worth it because they were still available after all these years however the quality of the case and the little pictures that help you see if it's polarized etc has gone downhill but that's not stopping me from wearing my favorite pair of sunglasses and I'm so grateful they've lasted this long yes the lens popped out a few times but you just pop it back in no worries just don't sit on them and you'll be good! These are the best pairs sunglasses I've ever worn and I will buy more again if anything ever happens they better not ever go out of stock LOL enjoy being a movie star! And thank you Amazon for giving the haters or reason to hate ;-)

My Favorite Pair of Sunglasses!!!!!

I was never a person that believed the quality of sunglasses made a large enough difference to justify the price differences that exist. Then a friend gifted a pair of $200 glasses for a birthday several years ago. Of course those were cute and I found them a fun accessory, but once I put them on driving on an incredibly sunny day I was shocked that there really was a difference in lense quality! I wasn't squinting in the strongest light and while I didn't think that sun hurt my eyes, I found a surprising comfort after wearing proper uv protection. So needless to say I was in love and instead of going through $10 Walgreens glasses every few months, I was treasuring this name brand pair. I treated them with such care that they might have been royalty. Then one fateful day, Cracked by the careless closing of a car door!! Tears! $200 just felt extravagant but I was accustomed to quality. Well with an upcoming float trip and just days to get a pair, I didn't want to rush into paying for a name brand that didn't fit perfectly or would fall into the water on this trip so I turned to Amazon's two day shipping and google lense quality ratings. I picked the shape most similar to my crushed pair.

These came and provided the same quality protection from the sun! I barrowed a friends Walgreens brand to make sure it wasn't all in my head- and nope, lense quality still makes a difference. Somehow this overseas set is able to offer the highest lense quality without the price tag. And the large frames perfectly compliment my round face. I ordered a second pair and cancelled my trip to the mall (probably saving way more than just the glasses, as I am sure that cute outfit in the window, the fun shoes, or sale that required my eyes would have further emptied my wallet). I have one pair in the car and one in my purse. Two years after the first purchase, I finally broke one of these (honestly can't say if that expensive pair trained me or if these are just durable but I am guessing the later). I ordered my third pair and same great quality!

Very carefully packaged! Great big sunglasses, but exposed metal

These are the most lovingly and carefully packaged sunglasses I have ever seen. There was a plastic sleeve on each arm, blue plastic covers on both sides of each lens (!!!), the sunglasses were inside a sunglass-shaped ziploc bag, and the entire thing was inside a hard case. Inside the hard case, there were individually wrapped 2 lens cleaning wipes, an instructional booklet, and a n individually wrapped card that you were supposed to look at to show an image only visible with polarization. And the entire hard case was shrink wrapped in plastic, to prevent scratches on the material! Again, I was blown away impressed at how lovingly these were packaged.

I had to throw out the case however, because it smelled very strongly of chemicals. The glasses are very huge, as expected, and I'm very happy with them.

However, there is alot of exposed metal on the parts that will touch my face, and I have a nickel allergy. The hinges are not "hidden", like some newer sunglasses have. One of the arms has a logo on the inside (visible in the photo), and that appears to be metal too. And the lens itself has the name of the company on the inside, facing out.

If I were this company I'd want to advertise too, because it's a higher quality product and I'm suprised it came from China. I wish this manufacturer made all sunglasses actually. But due to the metal and the loss of the case, I am taking off one star.

If you don't have metal allergies, don't hesitate to buy these!
