She could have ran to her three brothers but instead she made decisions on her own. She didn't know anything about the ways of the American people very much because of living in Africa and Australia but she didn't let that stop her.
What a gutsy woman! Dell sure got more than he bargained for in taking her as his wife. He found her very different but very determined to make her business with her ostrich birds go well.
Oh please if you haven't read this book yet get it! I know you will enjoy it just as much as I have. Wonderful book, I loved it.
A great job, Ms. Carroll-Bradd.
A very good story and one I wish would continue with her brother, Deman.
The author did a great job developing the primary as well as the secondary characters, although the hero Dell was a annoyingly typical. Her research of South Africa and Australia was evident and helped make for great story that was not a cookie-cutter mail order bride romance. It is for the birds, but in a good way. I recommend it.
