This book is a collection of articles, many of which cover the same info so it is mighty repetitive. But if you are looking for stats fleshing out the emerging libertarian vote, this is the book. I would particularly recommend this to GOP strategists and partisans, as this book makes it pretty clear that the libertarian vote is an opportunity to be embraced, but currently it is being treated as a threat to be repelled.

I read about half do the book at it was referring to a couple of studies and repeatedly reaching the same conclusions. I think there is a strong message to the Republicans looking to redefine themselves following the recent election losses. The message is to once again become the party of small government and be true to your convictions.

A necessary read for independent voters

Especially after the recent election, this book gives independent and Libertarian voters vital information, some comfort and may help you organize your efforts on behalf of candidates you back in the next election. If you consider yourself an independent voter, please don't be put off by "LIBERTARIAN". As explained in the book, many independent voters support Libertarian beliefs--that is why they are independent! Once you have a clearer understanding of where you are on the political spectrum, it becomes easier to select candidates based upon your beliefs and to identify and reach voters who share your goals.

I also wish politicians, especially Republican politicians, would read it.
