- Reviewed in the United States on August 23, 2024These are affordable, disposable nitrile gloves for light mechanics work on my 10 motorcycles. They are adequately durable, give my fingers enough 'feel' to do the work with nuts, screws, washers, etc. and protect my hands from grease, grime and fluids. I have been using these for over 10 years now and are the best option for a compromise of durability, affordability and protection, in my opinion.
- Reviewed in the United States on November 17, 2024These will do well when I put my hand in the water.
- Reviewed in the United States on April 18, 2016Even though the gloves are MUCH thinner than I had expected, it turns out that they are okay, and a bit sturdier than they look. When I initially ordered them, I truly was expecting them to be thicker. I still really don't like the thin-ness of the gloves, but I am not going to go through the trouble of sending them back for a refund. Instead, I have been using one pair repeatedly in soapy water in my laundry room, and they have not yet torn, so I have to give them a better review then my previous one-star. I need gloves for multiple house-cleaning tasks, cleaning baths, kitchen use, cleaning dogs dirty paws, etc. So I am cautiously giving them a better review. Gloves are somewhat reasonably priced for a box, and if I can get several uses out of each pair of gloves, then I think my money is not necessarily WELL spent, but OKAY spent. (Sorry for the not-so-great grammar, but if my points get made to future prospective buyers, that is what matters to me here, rather than perfect grammar.)
- Reviewed in the United States on March 10, 2016I use these gloves for just about every purpose imaginable when doing chores around the house and anything involving car related repair. Just about anything that involves chemicals.
Most often I’m using this for changing oil and other maintenance work under the engine that would end up drying my hands or getting myself filthy. For other more involved car work, I like to put these on and tend to use a few pairs as they tear, but it’s still better than getting stuff like brake or carburetor cleaner on your hands since that stuff is awful to the human body.
The investment in this is much better than investing in pumice soap and spending a ridiculous amount of time scrubbing dirt or oil out of your skin with the residual smell that you have to deal with for hours or days afterwards not to mention the dryness caused by coming into contact with bad chemicals.
Keep in mind these aren’t sterile for medical use but for everything else around the house involving chemicals or keeping grime out of the folds of your skin, this is the perfect resource.
Size is perfect for large hands and the coating inside makes them easy to take on or off. My wife likes it too whenever she’s cleaning around the house and needs a pair for normal cleaning around the house. This plus a few sets of facial masks is perfect if you’re serious about getting stuff done whether it’s at home or around the garage.
- Reviewed in the United States on April 16, 2016For the price of these, they're great gloves to use when working on your car. I haven't used them for much else other than mechanic work and painting, and although they do tear after beating them up for an hour or two, I wouldn't expect much more for the price and thickness. I've touched brake fluid, transmission fluid, power steering fluid, pretty much any automotive fluid you can think of and they have never penetrated through the gloves after continuous contact.
Also, my hands are just large enough to palm a basketball and large works fine. They don't tear at the area between the index finger and thumb after prolonged use like other gloves I've used which is nice. These are definitely my go-to gloves.
- Reviewed in the United States on August 11, 2016We always like to have disposable gloves like this around the house for many reasons. We have been out for a while, but my husband has a photography exhibition coming up and needs to align and mat all his photos, and needed gloves so he didn't damage the archival mats or photos with anything, especially finger oil. I also dye my hair every other month, so it was time to get a new box. I chose these, and they are great. They have endured both my husband's nit pickiness and my hair dying abuse. I have had no complaints nor have I heard any from my husband. No random tearing. Seem to be pretty excellent!
- Reviewed in the United States on April 10, 2020These gloves are very thin but seem to be durable. Easy to touch surfaces like keyboards, touch screens etc. I wore for about 45 min and my hands were sweating when pulled off. I have medium hands and ordered large and the fit is comfortable. I just don’t like sweatiness of hands.
- Reviewed in the United States on August 30, 2016These work very well, fit well, and are at a great price. However, I have two minor gripes: the first is that the gloves are packed "by weight". So depending on the accuracy of their scale, you could, in theory, get more or less than 100 gloves. I didn't count the gloves so I just took them at their word. My second issue is that I had a glove break while putting it on. All the rest of the gloves held up.
Bottom line: I bought a second box after the first ran out
