I'm so, so very sorry for her birth mother's behavior. That she continues in her rejection. The only thing I can decipher from her behavior is, that she herself doesn't know how to have that relationship and take responsiblity for her past. She repeatedly said what a "good life, good job, good..." whatever she had, but never once admitted to the past and only wanted to keep it private and buried.
I don't even know this woman, and yet, I am so sorry for her behavior toward you and your children/her grandchildren. I just want to wrap my arms around you, hug you and tell/show you...you are worthy. You are loved. You are special and you do have a purpose for your life. My mother's heart aches for you and all you have endured through your life. I am so thankful that you found Jonathan...even Hiedi! How amazing! I wish you well and for all of the other adoptees out there that your life has touched...I pray they too come to know...their life is not a mistake either. Thank you for sharing your journey.
