"From the get-go, you can tell how much Liz loved Joe, and how their relationship sparkled. They were a beautiful couple, and you can also feel the intense grief that Liz endures as the story unfolds. This is a raw and very sad story, but it deals with grief in a courageous and atypical way. Liz packs her bags and takes Joe's urn to travel across the country. Doing something for herself, something to help ease the chasm that Joe's death has left in her heart.
This book is one that you are not going to be able to put down, Liz has some extremely beautiful qualities about her, she's a real person who needs the reassurance that she isn't alone, and she finds it in some surprising ways. Finding love again may be difficult for her, but the fact that she faces her grief head-on is powerful and inspiring.
I can't say enough good things about this book, I really, truly, believe that anyone will get something out of this story. Whether you have lost a lover or not, your heart will be with Liz, and her pain will drench you. I'm sure that we've all had times in our lives where we felt we couldn't go on, but somehow we persevered, and that's exactly what Liz does in this book. I give this one 5 out of 5 stars, just a gorgeous, meaningful look at grief and the people who are left behind."

"Liz begins to try and find some sense in her new life by starting a blog, which is the format for how the book was written. This is something I really enjoyed reading through especially with how well the blog posts were written. It really gave it a sense that we were following someone on a journey as they wrote down their 'raw' thoughts and emotions."

This intriguing story follows the travels of a young widow, Liz, as she crosses the country with her husbands ashes. Sharing his story with family, friends, and complete strangers, she finds love, wisdom and strength and discovers the journey she must now travel without him.
I would highly recommend this book, not just for those who have faced a personal loss, but for anyone who faces challenges that seem difficult to overcome. It will inspire you to move forward on your own journey.
I saw Z E R O typos or grammatical errors! (I read many free books from Amazon and cringe when I see them....don't they have word?) I have highly encouraged friends to read this book. I've got a new outlook on life....it's much too short to not tell others that you love them.
I even went on to buy another book by the same author....she's a very versatile writer!
I simply cannot sing the praises of this book loudly enough! Read it! You will be spell bound and captivated by Liz's story and journey through grief!
