A dark and somewhat eerie tale about a young woman who was sexually abused by a relative when she was younger, and how her and her two older brothers survive with only each other. She may think she is surviving, but when she runs into her abuser after all these years, she is forced to recall everything that happened and all that anger comes to surface. This is how she responds to that rage. There are some twists and there's nothing predictable about it. It is dark and there is blood and violence. For the most part, the abuse isn't graphically played in the pages, but it's more of a general overview of what happened. It's also a good look at what the aftermath of abuse looks like, not only to the victims, but to those close to them. How it affects everyone. Due to the subject matter, this is a book for mature readers. It does alternate between POVs. It is a novella, so can be read in just a couple hours.
