I had nothing to complain until....
Since I swallow a ton of medications, I am tired of putting these one by one, so I started opening up all capsules, crushing all tablets into apple sauce to make it go down the throat little easily.I have been getting Life Exntesion magazine for few months and the quality of their supplements that they trump in the articles, I thought, should be a good company. The gelcaps are dark brown in color so you have no way to know how it is inside. I have been taking it for 3 weeks now. Today I opened one gelcap and some kind of material came out of it. Check the picture in red with something on it. I am unable to figure out what that is but made me really uncomfortable, that we the consumers believe all these manufacturers to abide good manufacturing practice and we pay what they ask for, still the quality is not what it should be...Think again before considering this product (actually all Life Extension products now). They lost me as a customer for sure.

There has been an huge amount of research done in the past decade that reveals the benefits of vitamin D for optimal health. After suffering heart failure 5 years ago, I was shown to be grossly deficient in D3, however, it wasn't until 4 years into my recovery adopting a new dietary lifestyle that I discovered that I needed K2 to work in synergy with D3 for bone strength and my future cardiovascular health.

In simple terms, Vitamin D and Vitamin K work together like this....A large portion of arterial plaque is made up of calcium deposits (hardening of the arteries) Vitamin D has undisputed benefits in improving bone development, helping your body absorb calcium and K2 directs calcium to the right places like your skelton and keeps it out of the places that you don't want it, such as your arteries, organs and joint spaces. There is also medical proof that the safety of Vitamin D depends on Vitamin K. Toxicity (which is rare with D3) is actually a result of Vitamin K2 deficiency.

Although I did change my diet drastically over a year ago, I was still struggling to get my cholesterol numbers to safe levels. Upon adopting the addition of K2, my numbers changed drastically in a very short time (within 4 months) and continue to improve. This prompted me to educate myself on every supplement I was currently on and other supplements that I added to ensure Heart Health. If I don't understand why I am taking something now, I will not be consistent. And K2 is a must.

Life Extention was suggested to me by a health care professional who offers holistic alternatives to standard medication and supplementation.

This is a fantastic combination of nutrients for skin, bone growth and arterial health in my opinion. I have osteopenia bordering on osteoporosis, awful skin problems from having to use testosterone, heart disease "kills" in my family on both sides, and biopsied precancerous Barrett's disease. Some fairly serious health issues. I have used every prescription bone density prescription available, including prolia injections and 2 years of daily injected forteo with only 7% increase in bone deposit improvement. My cholesterol if left untreated is in the 300 category. I take a powerful acid producing inhibitor due to arthritis medications causing bleeding ulcers. After doing mega reading and research I came accross the benefits of a combination vitamin K. I trust Life extensions products and liked the process used for manufacturing the final product. Life extentions has all the correct multi vitamin k's we need from correct first sources. It is not the by product of some other fist source nutrient or food. That matters to me.
A bit pricy but considering the research done by this company for purity and the science that is needed to produce a superior supplement, I think you get what you pay for. Great product you can trust with proven blood test results, which I have every 3 months. Be aware fermented soy is used in this formula, if you are soy allergic or sensitive such as breast cancer talk to your Dr.
This supplement has loads of vitamin k activity and you take one easy to swallow soft gel cap daily. Works well for me!

This is just great!! It is pharmaceutical grade and came highly recommended!
Please let me share what it has done for me. I went on Super K right after I had a heart cath in 2010 which showed a 57% blockage in my LAD. (The widow make artery in your heart) Left Anterior Descending artery and a 77% blockage in a peripheral. Now I originally took the K because after much research it made sense and was highly recommended by my pain doctor who also is a reserach doctor of pharmacology. 11 months later I was in a horrible auto accident resulting in trauma to my chest. Another heart cath was done. To the amazement of my cardiologists and myself, the heart cath performed by the same cardiologist 11 months prior, it showed the LAD blockage going from 57% to 50% and the 77% little peripheral to 52%! When I asked my pain doctor he explained how research is finding how each different component of K's work to clear arteries. I did NOT change my diet...I eat pretty healthy anyway...keep my weight down...but still have high cholesterol. I knew Statins are so ugly for your body. Space Doc had huge amount of info on statins and why cholesterol is not the enemy of your heart and there are is much more showing this. All in all I know Super K by Life Extension can be trusted as all their products can.
