I've been a lifelong allergy sufferer with allergies to dust, mold, pollen, cats & dogs, etc. For years I've taken Claritin (or the generic loratidine), and could never find a natural product to replace this medication. Until I found Life Extension's Butterbur Extract w/ Rosmarinic Acid. I've been taking it for about 8 months now, and only one time have I had to resort to loratidine - and just for 1 or 2 days. Overall, this has worked great and I give it a strong 5 stars... and recommend it to all my friends and families with allergies. I'm now 100% medication-free, which was a personal goal of mine for a long time. I love natural remedies and actually have built a business around it with home remedy ebooks at Barton Publishing. This stuff works!!

I LOVED the Life Extension Rosmarinic Acid Extract! By balancing my Butterbur and my Rosmarinic Acid in different times of the day, I was able to keep my allergies, including massive hives, to a minimum. This product has both, so I can't do that anymore. I feel "off" if I take this one twice a day, yet felt terrific when I took 2 doses of the previous Rosamarinic Acid plus two doses of Butterbur. I started taking less of this and felt better, but started getting my hives again.

I HATE combined products! This would be fine if there were a lot of sources for Rosmarinic Acid, but there is not.: I only found one other source.

After 18 years I had to give up Zyrtec because of some emerging side effects. With high hopes for a "natural" treatment, I've had little success. I took Butterbur for a month, with no noticeable relief whatsoever. Quercetin didn't help either. It only made me sick to my stomach. Allergienmittel AllerAide seems to provide some short-term benefit when used as needed.

A close friend of mine has suffered from asthma for years, ranging from mild to severe. After several weeks of using this supplement, he tells me that his symptoms are less severe and his allergies less pronounced. He's on his second bottle now and is recommending it to others. My boss suffers from allergies which have become severe lately. I recommended this supplement to him and he has ordered it. I'll update this review after I get his feedback in a few weeks.

I suffer from debilitating complicated migraine (migraine with aura, light and sound sensitivity, and nausea), and these have reduced my headaches considerably. My doctor recommended them based on solid scientific studies. I have not noticed any side effects.

Update: More than five months using this product. I've noticed that if I forget to take it for a day or two I will wake up with that recognizable pre-migraine ill feeling in my neck, and it will develop into a migraine. So these definitely work if used consistently.

I have had a severe skin problem for years. I also was suffering with allergies so picked up a Bell product called Allergy that had Rosmarinic Acid Extract in it. I took it for a month and realized my skin problem cleared up. I went to get more and the company had changed the product to Histamine Balance and it didn't have the R.A.E. in it anymore, it didn't help. I went on line and found the Life Extension Rosmarinic Acid Extract and again it kept my skin clear. Now I can't get that anymore so tried the Butterbur w/ Rosmarinic Acid and it doesn't help. It is so upsetting to find something that works and then you can't get it anymore. What can a person do to get a product that works good and keep getting it? I will not buy this product again!

This product upset my stomach. It might work for someone else but I have a very sensitive stomach. I like Life Extension products and supplements but this did not work for me.
