I truly enjoyed the book and although at times it seemed a bit jarring , it shows that it does not matter what the journey is at the end of the day to get to knowing yourself and Spirit , all that matters is that you are willing to take all the pain, discomfort and hurt to get to self and God-realization. And that you have to keep at it !
It also shows that it does not matter what we have done in our lives , and by this I mean all of the things that we perceive as bad , because at the end of the day it does not matter if it is a search until you finally find yourself beneath all the layers of hurt, anger, pain and self-loathing that we all cloak ourselves within. GOd does not judge us as you will realise after reading this journey of Asta-deb . it is WE who are our biggest critics. It is very easy to get caught up with all of the labels we give ourselves in this life - this is good, this is bad etc - but Ashta-Deb shows us none of that matters ! it is pure nonsense and the faster we realise that , better for us !
Despite going through the full spectrum of human emotion and all of the things we perceive as bad , Ashta-DEb shows that we can rise above it all and discover our true selves as walking Masters of our own destinies with the power to help others along the way.
I definitely recommend this book to those who are on a spiritual quest and have doubts on whether they are worthy of love, honour , respect and God in their lives.
