It is rare to find a young woman writing in this field; it is rarer still to find such a fresh yet authoritative expression of that which always and already is, from which there is no escape and yet which is so often overlooked, even (or especially) in the seeking of it. This book is a pleasure to read. It avoids the well-worn Advaita quotes and clichés and with great sweetness and clarity points directly to What I am. "Unmani writes clearly, fluently and comprehensively about the different aspects and perceptions that arise. There is a continuous and unrelenting theme running through the whole work which can bring the reader to the simple aliveness of timeless being." Tony Parsons author of The Open Secret, As It IS and All There is.
Customer Reviews, including Product Star Ratings help customers to learn more about the product and decide whether it is the right product for them.
To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzed reviews to verify trustworthiness.
The teachings of Unmani are not for the fainthearted. And yet her direct and exposing way of teaching is one of unconditional love and acceptance. Her approach springs directly from her own realisation and deep insight in us being human, as she herself has walked the path before us,….. and is still walking the path of being human in total surrendering to life itself. It is only our deep longing for the truth about who we are, that brings us beyond the fear of the ego of being exposed….. in fact, the ego will never understand…. so why hesitate….
Unmani has a unique way to transport truth and love and it touches so deeply. She is using the words the seeker needs to understand in a clear and raw way. There is no feeding of hope and no final goal stories, even if they would be so nice :-) A very good book for everyone who is really interested in truth.
Firstly I must say I was touched by this book to the extent that before I finished it, I ordered the second (Die to Love) by the author. On the book itself the font size used throughout is wonderful - certainly easy on the eyes. With regard to its content, the author has a patient and non-pretentious approach in trying to remove the veil to WHAT IS. One must remember that what (life) is being pointed to and the position from which it is being pointed are not exactly accessible through the medium of language and words - hence the only thing left is to express gratitude to the author (life) for what "she" is trying to share - understandably this is what the author does in the last chapter!!!
