This is the third Sylvia Browne book that I have read, so I have an understanding of how and why she wrote as she did: to remove our fear of death, and to help explain the challenges we face in life (we chose to go through them before we got here.) In this book she explains the systems in place on the other side which help us to advance as souls, beloved of God. It is very heady stuff, and I had to set the book down several times and digest what I had just read. Set skepticism aside and give it a read; it is both comforting and empowering. It is liberating to read that we have chosen to live these specific challenging lives so that we can learn to overcome obstacles and hardships, to learn to care for others and to improve our world, rather than feeling that we can be victims of circumstance.

I have read almost all of Sylvia’s books, and this is one of my favorites. She explains everything you could ever want to know about the afterlife, and most of these things I have never heard of or read before. It is quite comforting to know that we will be busy, fulfilled, Happy people on the other side, and not bored whisps of air floating around with nothing to do. It makes one actually long for home, even if it’s a home we don’t remember.

I had read the book years ago and thought it would be good to review it as I ride to work. I was distracted by the sound of her voice as it was very gravely, but then I thought, who better than she to tell her own story....so I tried to get past that. Although I did not read the book and listen to the tape at the same time, I thought there was a little more about soul contracts then there actually was.....however, I may be mistaken.

I enjoyed the contents of this book.

interesting to read about her interpretation of her view of Heaven and the way it is. It is comforting to know that life does go on after you die on Earth. It is a mystery to us all to know what happens after the soul or energy or essence leaves the body. Sylvia left me with a lasting impression of what can happen after our souls pass on. According to the book we continue living our lives in Heaven on a day to day basis except the basic laws of living do not exist in Heaven such as time, space, food, etc. She describes buildings (temples) in Heaven, the topography that is the same exact replica of Earth in Heaven and she also describes in great detail what each Temple contains and works for. We will not know for sure if what she describes is accurate 100% but I guess no one will until your sould passes to the other side.
So I was left with mysticism, I kept an open mind, and I thought about "what if" this were to be exactly the way it is.

I am a skeptic, and need data to believe. I am somewhat scientific minded, which is often the opposite of these kind of beliefs. After having a couple of unexplainable events, and finding others who have had weird things happen I really began reading whatever I can to find some answers . Sylvia gives us copious data, not just personal opinion of the afterlife, and other paranormal events. She has verified information her clients have given under hypnosis of past lives, such as name, how they died, and other personal information. Thousands of people could not have told stories from other people's lives as a hoax', she has found that 100 percent of the stories check out. I was having some real doubts about God and religion. I feel a renewed faith in God and comfort in what will happen when I die. She has also confirmed some things I s suspected were true. Legends exist for a reason, and there is no such thing as coincidence.

I really love this book! Having come from a Christian background and not really every believing what my church said was true, this book makes TOTAL sense to me! If anyone out there is wondering what it's like on the other side and they have a very open mind to any type of possibilites, than this book is for you!

Having recently lost both my mother and young brother I was left feeling very alone and full of questions about why they had left this earth and where it was they had gone. Sylvia is great at creating a positive image of what it's like for them and it gives me peace of mind that my loved ones are not "ghosts" looming around my home but are back "home" happy and safe and waiting for me. It is a huge relief to someone in my situation who doesn't believe what modern religion says about the after life. Well done Sylvia!
