By creating this book, I'm able to re-live these great moments. When reading Tony's book it almost feels like I'm back in Arizona, sitting at the campfire and listening to Tony's fantastic stories.
Tony is by far the person that I know, that has the most experience and wisdom regarding survival and living off the land, and at the same time being able to share all this knowledge to others who enjoy the great outdoors. I know Tony have been involved in a myriad more scary, funny, heart pounding, disastrous and memorable stories and look forward to reading them when he, hopefully, write a sequel. Or actually even better, I'll first listen to them at one of his many courses, and then re-live them through the book.
Thank you so much for sharing, Tony, it's invaluable information for all your padwan's :-)
Claus S. Andersen
Life Under Open Skies is a collection of short stories that the author has experienced in his years as a bushcraft practitioner and instructor. The stories are well written and engaging. Because the stories are short, some only 2 pages long, this is excellent book for those moments where you have limited time to get in some reading and want to take a break from reality. I also learned useful tidbits of information by reading the stories. While this is not an instructive manual, the stories provide an entertaining vehicle for learning.
