About the Author
At the age of 26, Abel Keogh unexpectedly found himself a young widower. When he decided to start dating again he looked in vain for resources that could help him guide him through the dating waters and open his heart to someone else. He found nothing. As he began blogging about his experiences, women dating widowers began emailing him asking for his thoughts on their situations. As the numbers of emails increased, Abel started writing a weekly dating a widower advice column called Widower Wednesday as well as the books Dating a Widower: Starting a Relationship with a Man Who’s Staring Over and Marrying a Widower: What you Need to Know before Tying the Knot. Abel is also the author of the memoir Room for Two—the story of the year of his life following his late wife’s suicide—and the novel The Third. He and his wife Julianna are the parents of three boys and two girls. Learn more at www.abelkeogh.com.

I recommend this for anyone even dating a widower. We aren't at the marriage phase, either, but I know that there are things in here that will help IF that time comes. Dating a widower or marrying a widower isn't for everyone. If you are skeptical, read this... You may think twice if this is for you. It takes a strong person to deal with the issues a woman dating/marrying a widower deals with. On the flip side, it's nice to hear from another man how he's dealt with things and hear what our widowers face in common.
It's helped me tremendously with understand my widower and even, in my eyes grieve with him.
Don't think twice about reading this book... But if you do... Read Dating a Widower, first.
Kudos, Abel... Well done. Thanks so much for offering your experiences a chance to help us understand widowers more. You've done a great service to us.
