Professional, Practical, Proactive

Dr Clairborne's book is very impressive and mentally stimulating. As a practicing
family physician with a holistic view of healing the whole person she knows whereof
she speaks. Her personal engagement in the health and wellbeing of people from all walks
of life makes her a consummate professional . The book is well written in an easy going
manner but with obviously documented solutions without sounding too complicated or academic.
It is so practical and filled with definite steps to take to address the physical, mental and
emotional needs of the readers. Her "Wellness Wheel" is a refreshing approach for proactive
involvement of the readers in their processes of returning to wholeness. The acronym she has
devised for "THINK" will make you smile, and also her admonition, Dr's orders! It is a worthy book.

I am astonished that this book made it to publication without being proofread. Her writing style is horrendous. I knew something was wrong when I found multiple typos in the first few pages.

I've concluded that the person that left the glowing review, which i relied upon when i purchased this book, is somehow related to, or friends with, the author because no one in their right mind would recommend this to others.

P.S. This is the first time i've ever left feedback, and i'm having a wonderful day, so don't discount this review as coming from some miserable troll that is angry at the world.

In this book, Dr. Maiysha Clairborne, a holistic medical doctor with an extensive alternative education in acupuncture and health coaching, gives practical and insightful advice about how to heal yourself with health practices that address the whole person - mind, body, and spirit. Her easygoing and engaging style of writing is perfect for both the layperson and professional interested in self-educating about the natural health world.
