LifeRite can also be used for other mold making including food safe molds for cooking and candy making. Typical applications include body molding prosthetics and special effects. Features include: Safe for body parts; Easy to measure mix and apply; Makes reusable molds; Highest tear strength; Quick curing; Allows for multiple coats; Highest detail capture; Thixotropic (stays put even on horizontal surfaces). This kit includes: one mixing stick a mixing container catalyst base and vinyl gloves. The kit will make one pint of skin safe silicone rubber.

LifeRite does work as instructed, but for what I use it for, it is priced to high. In the future I'll seek out a less costly product: such as
all-purpose silicone sealant that one can buy at a hardware store. I make my image first with clay, than I cast it in silicone rubber.
I will be looking for a lower priced product that would be a replacement for LifeRite.
