Clinically validated for accuracy, the LifeSource Advanced One Step Auto Inflate Blood Pressure Monitor allows you to quickly measure your pulse and blood pressure. With a 90-reading recall, a time/date stamp, and a function that averages previous readings, this monitor makes it easy to track your results over time. A Pressure Reading Indicator simplifies the numbers, while an irregular heartbeat indicator alerts you to unusual heart patterns. The monitor comes with a latex-free cuff that automatically inflates at the touch of a button.
Keeps Track of Your Readings
The LifeSource Advanced One Step Blood Pressure Monitor stores the last 90 measurements, allowing you to track your blood pressure and pulse over several months. Its clock and time/date stamp make it easy to look back over and identify previous readings. The monitor also calculates the average of previous readings, so you can quickly get a sense of your measurements.
Tested for Accuracy
Approved by the European Hypertension Society, this monitor allows you to easily measure your blood pressure and pulse. It has been clinically tested, ensuring you get a correct reading every time.
This monitor's blood pressure measurements are comparable to readings taken using the cuff/stethoscope auscultation method, within the limits of the American National Standards Institute (ANSI), which assures the safety and health of consumers.
Easy-to-Read Monitor and Auto-Inflate Cuff
On a large display, the monitor shows your pulse, systolic and diastolic readings, and the time in clearly visible numbers. Additionally, the cuff inflates automatically at the press of a button, making the monitor easy to use.
Simplifies Reading to Eliminate Guesswork
The monitor features a Pressure Rating Indicator that eliminates guesswork by indicating whether your blood pressure is high, low, or normal. While a trained professional should always interpret your blood pressure measurements, the One Step Monitor provides an easy way for you to see your pulse and blood pressure levels and understand how the numbers compare.
Irregular Heartbeat Detection
The LifeSource monitor displays a symbol to alert you when your heartbeat is irregular. Plus, even when your heartbeat is irregular, the monitor will provide an accurate blood pressure and pulse rate reading.

I didn't need anything above the features that both offered, so I believe either one would have met my requirements. However, two advantages:
1. Life Source 767 is cheaper than the Omron HEM0780 (at the time of this review--check current prices)
2. Life Source device has a lifetime warranty (Omron's is five years)
Note that the adapter costs extra and batteries are not included.
Before placing the order, make sure you MEASURE YOUR UPPER ARM for CUFF SIZE selection. Its not on the product link, you need to go to the cuff only product link to find the measurements for small, medium, and large LifeSource UA-280 Blood Pressure Monitor Cuff, Medium (9.4" - 14.2").
My recent previous blood pressure monitor was a cheap replacement ($29.99+tax) from CVS drug stores. It lasted less than 2 months before it started going crazy. It started blowing up like a balloon and giving me abnormal readings ranging from 170/130 to 140/95 to 125/99 all within a 5-6 minute span. Also it started taking almost 3 minutes to display incorrect readings or an error message. As a result I decided to get something better even if it cost a little more.
This UA-767 Plus has been improved. It now displays not only your pressure reading but also displays the battery power. There's a bar at the bottom which clearly lets you see if the battery power is low and needs replacement. I use rechargeable batteries which saves money. Furthermore there's a color code to the left of the display that flashes after a reading. Green shows normal or below, yellows means you're moderate (just slightly above normal) and red indicates high blood pressure. This is helpful because there are home remedies that help lower blood pressure such as drinking onion juice or taking a teaspoon of cumin+honey+ginger.Read more ›
We purchased this blood pressure monitor because it's the only one that advertised a cuff that would fit my me and my wife (7.5"-12.2"). When we received the monitor we were disappointed to find that the medium cuff fits arm sizes 9.4"-14.2" and is printed clearly on the box. Do NOT buy this cuff if you have a smaller arm (less than 9.4").
We did a lot of research to find a good monitor and even looked on the Lifesource site. All of their product literature says the medium cuff will fit a 7.5"-12.2" inch arm. I called the Lifesource customer service and they said we're out of luck but of course we can purchase another cuff from them. I also tried emailing them twice, hoping for a better response, but they never responded.
A previous reviewer was able to get a free cuff but we weren't so lucky. Now, we'll look for another brand. Lifesource may be a good brand but they didn't seem to care that all of the literature is out of date and weren't willing to do anything to fix it. We're returning the monitor and will try to get Amazon to at least update their product description.
