LifeSpan Fitness C3-DT5 Bike Desk
Easily Roll the Bike From Under the Desk to Use as a Standing Desk
For those who would rather pedal than walk or where office space is limited, the C3-DT5 Bike Desk is a great way to add activity into your workday. This bike desk combines our upright bike with our manual height adjustable desk for a compact, quiet and lasting solution that includes the convenience of being able to roll the bike out from under the desk when not in use so it can be used as a traditional stand-up desk. Ideal for single users or small groups of users where desktop height adjustments are infrequent.
Comfortable, Adjustable Seat
The cushioned seat has 19-height adjustment settings to ensure a perfect fit and comfortable ride. Adjustments range from 36.5-inches up to 46.5-inches measuring from the top of the seat to the fully extended bike pedal. This supports most users from 5-feet to 6-feet 8-inches tall.
Manual Desktop Height Adjustment
The desktop height manually adjusts to comfortably fit users from 4-feet 10-inches to 6-feet 8-inches tall. The stable desktop frame is unattached from the treadmill and stands alone, ensuring that any movement of the treadmill stays isolated and is not transferred to the desktop. The desktop has a 1-inch thick composite board and durable laminate surface set on a rigid steel frame. At 36.5 x 46.75-inches (D x W), the deksktop is large enough to hold all of your electronic devices and still have ample room for other personal items.
Spacious Desktop Work Area
The desktop has a 1-inch thick composite board and durable laminate surface set on a rigid steel frame. At 36.5 x 46.75-inches (D x W), it is large enough to hold all of your electronic devices and still have ample room for other personal items. This console is located for easy access without taking away your desktop area. The digital LED display shows resistance level, time pedaled, calories burned, distance traveled and pedaling speed. The padded armrests add comfort and support to help avoid wrist fatigue during long work sessions.

The box for the bike says 84 lbs (72 lbs net) and box for the desk says 103 lbs (88 lbs net) and the delivery people just brought it inside the front door.
Also note: The desk is much larger than I expected: 32" x 46" x adjustable height. If I had known that, I might have looked harder for a smaller desk and then just gotten the LifeSpan bike. But in a way I'm glad I hadn't known in advance because this is a very sturdy desk and I like being able to put a lot of books and things on it.
I would not hesitate to buy this product again if I were certain it would fit my needs. It is well built and would last a lifetime. I deducted one star for LifeSpan incorrectly telling us it would fit our specific LifeSpan treadmill.
Sunlite Cloud-9 Bicycle Suspension Cruiser Saddle, Cruiser Gel, Tri-color Black
1-1/2" Thick - 12" Wide - Bicycle Seat Cover / Gel Pad-Wide and you're on Cloud 12.
Do I recommend this thing? Without a doubt. I use it now for 2-3 hours a day now (more each day) and the remaining 6 hours of the day walking on the treadmill desk DT-5.
So why does my butt hurt vs a normal bike? Because you need to lean forward and put your elbows on the pads. On a normal bike you distribute most of your weight on the handle bars which you don't have here. Move your monitor to the far back of the desk and/or buy a monitor mount for a desk so you can get the entire distance from your eyes (now leaning on your elbows) to the monitor. And get that DerriAir seat thing and Cloud 9 seat.
Also, hopping up on this thing is difficult due to the design. Please fix that too.
Here's my free engineering idea. Make it more like a sit down recumbent bike like this Exerpeutic 900XL Extended Capacity Recumbent Bike with Pulse - the point is not the brand but the big seat, the flat chair like seat. Also, it's lower to the ground. If you did this idea and built a desk over it perhaps you could get this a solid 5 star product and be the first to the market. Easy to get on and off of and no butt problems. Heck I'll even come work for you as your products changed my life. So thank you!
