Don’t go to Mexico without one!

After getting horribly sick on a trip to Mexico I decided, ‘never again!’

I bought one of these bottles for every member of the family before our next Mexican vacation.

We had many adventures: picnics, ATVs in the jungle, zip lining, cave swimming…and these bottles were with us the entire time. We weren’t afraid to refill bottles from any water source. These bottles made the water potable every time.

Nobody got sick. Everybody stayed healthy.

Genius! Essential! Love it! Recommend it!

Hard to drink from

It’s good but it’s not easy to drink from. It deters me from wanting to use it as opposed to other bottles. Also it’s not well insulated so the water doesn’t stay cold in it for long.

I travel to Mali often and I have to purchase bottled water because I cannot drink from the tap. I was excited to try this as I thought it would save me from one-use bottles. After 3 days in the country, using this bottle only, I got very VERY sick. Doctor told me it was a water parasite because my water wasn't clean. I had to receive treatments by IV as I was too ill to keep anything down. I am so disappointed by this product, but even more from the fact that I trusted it and it ruined my trip. I am still recovering and am still taking anti-parasites at the moment. Would love my money back, but even more to warn travellers who might want to try this. Will stick to store-bought bottled water.

Leaks

This bottle leaks. I returned the first and have the same problem with the second. If you lie it flat it leaks. If it’s a hot day the filter acts like a vacuum and sucks the water up through the straw so it spills out as soon as you lift the straw. For an expensive bottle it’s shockingly bad. Wouldn’t recommend at all.
