The new double wall, vacuum insulated "growler" sized water bottle is the largest size bottle they carry. Its 64 ounce capacity is the perfect size to fill with your favorite brewer craft beers, or for taking enough hot or cold beverages with you for your day trips. The double-wall, vacuum insulated bottle is specifically designed to keep liquids hot or cold all day. Double-wall technology also prevents condensation and keeps the outside wall of the bottle at a comfortable temperature, regardless of whether it is carrying a hot or cold beverage. The bottles are constructed from high quality food grade 18/8 stainless steel, which unlike aluminum bottles, does not require any kind of liner. Bottles will not retain odor or taste, and also are 100 percent recyclable. All components, including lid, are 100 percent BPA free.

Lifeline’s 50/50 Double-Wall Growler is vacuum-insulated to keep liquids hot or cold all day. The Stainless Steel Growler holds 64oz. of your favorite beverage and in most cases can keep hot liquids hot and cold liquids cold for more than 12 hours. Double-wall technology also serves another very important purpose, it prevents condensation on the exterior of the bottle as well as any kind of temperature transfer from whichever type of beverage the bottle is holding, regardless of whether it is hot or cold.
Lifeline stainless steel bottles are constructed from lightweight 18/8 stainless steel that is 100% recyclable, BPA-Free, and requires no lining. Stainless steel growlers also will not retain odor or taste.
How Does It Work?
Lifeline’s Vacuum Insulated double wall growlers keep liquids hot and cold through using the best insulation technologies available. Instead of simply using foam insulation, or using a simple double wall construction, Lifeline’s 50/50 growlers are vacuum insulated between the two layers of the stainless steel water bottles. A vacuum is a space that contains no atoms which in turn eliminates conduction and convection allowing for the beverage inside to stay hot or cold depending on what you have put in there. The main reason the beverages can’t retain their temperature for even longer being that some temperature leak does occur through the lid of the bottle. Most cheaper, imitation knock-off stainless steel bottles solely utilize a double wall technique, that is great for reducing condensation on the exterior for the bottle, but does very little toward actually helping beverages to retain their temperatures.

So now I'm at a "mixed emotions" point with the whole deal. Not sure what exactly I think about it now.
I have had the bottle for two months and the plastic attached the cap to the bottle is already broken.
Called customer service thinking its a fluke and easy fix however I had to listen to the guy try telling me that it is normal wear and tear. So he is telling me their caps are only intended to last two months?
I've emailed customer service and am waiting for a response.
It's still winter in SE Georgia, but the one day we tested these bottles, they kept ice in the bottle for more than 6 hours while sitting in the car. Temps were in the 70's, so it's not the height of summer heat, but overall there was very little ice melt over that time.
The bottles came WELL protected in plastic and bubble wrap and arrived without a blemish. The initial quality is evident, and the plastic cap seems strong and provides a water-tight fit.
We're very happy with our purchase!
With any of these stainless steel growlers, keep it in cool temps for an hour or so before filling. I sometimes ask the brewery or bar if I can stick the growler in their fridge for an hour before filling (with the lid closed of course). It helps keep the foaming down while they fill it.
I recommend getting a growler bag to carry it around it once you get it filled. I would not carry it by the handle loop once it is filled.
After 3 months the threads on the cap broke and it would over thread so that the cup wouldn't seal unless you threaded it into that sweet spot. No big deal, I ordered a new cap.
I've owned the bottle for 7 months now and I've been noticing more and more mold growing along the bottom edge of the bottle on the inside. I was using a dish brush to clean it out but there's just too much now. I dunno if it's the coating of the bottle that's causing it or what but it has rendered the bottle useless.
The claims that it'll keep water cold all day are definitely true! I gave it a test run this weekend since the bottle is still very new to me. I filled it with cold water from the fridge and put an entire tray of ice in it. It's now at 30+ hours and still has a little bit of ice left.
I purchased a Juglug carrying sleeve to make it easier to carry and a Hydroflask widemouth flip-top lid to make it easier to drink out of. I'd highly recommend purchasing both accessories as they make the bottle a lot more practical for daily use.
Other manufacturers have bottles of similar design going for about $20 more online, so I'm really glad I found Lifeline's 50/50 series. I'll probably be buying one small enough to fit in my backpack soon!
