Product Description

The new double wall, vacuum insulated "growler" sized water bottle is the largest size bottle they carry. Its 64 ounce capacity is the perfect size to fill with your favorite brewer craft beers, or for taking enough hot or cold beverages with you for your day trips. The double-wall, vacuum insulated bottle is specifically designed to keep liquids hot or cold all day. Double-wall technology also prevents condensation and keeps the outside wall of the bottle at a comfortable temperature, regardless of whether it is carrying a hot or cold beverage. The bottles are constructed from high quality food grade 18/8 stainless steel, which unlike aluminum bottles, does not require any kind of liner. Bottles will not retain odor or taste, and also are 100 percent recyclable. All components, including lid, are 100 percent BPA free.

Double-walled, vacuum-insulated growler keeps beverages hot or cold all day

Lifeline’s 50/50 Double-Wall Growler is vacuum-insulated to keep liquids hot or cold all day. The Stainless Steel Growler holds 64oz. of your favorite beverage and in most cases can keep hot liquids hot and cold liquids cold for more than 12 hours. Double-wall technology also serves another very important purpose, it prevents condensation on the exterior of the bottle as well as any kind of temperature transfer from whichever type of beverage the bottle is holding, regardless of whether it is hot or cold.

Lifeline stainless steel bottles are constructed from lightweight 18/8 stainless steel that is 100% recyclable, BPA-Free, and requires no lining. Stainless steel growlers also will not retain odor or taste.

How Does It Work?

Lifeline’s Vacuum Insulated double wall growlers keep liquids hot and cold through using the best insulation technologies available. Instead of simply using foam insulation, or using a simple double wall construction, Lifeline’s 50/50 growlers are vacuum insulated between the two layers of the stainless steel water bottles. A vacuum is a space that contains no atoms which in turn eliminates conduction and convection allowing for the beverage inside to stay hot or cold depending on what you have put in there. The main reason the beverages can’t retain their temperature for even longer being that some temperature leak does occur through the lid of the bottle. Most cheaper, imitation knock-off stainless steel bottles solely utilize a double wall technique, that is great for reducing condensation on the exterior for the bottle, but does very little toward actually helping beverages to retain their temperatures.

We live in Colorado and are surrounded by great micro-brewers. Many don't make enough of their specialty batches to bottle, and the only way you can enjoy these brews away from the pub is to fill a growler. Trouble is, on a hot day (when their products are pretty much irresistible), the standard glass growlers don't keep our precious beverage cold. These get 5 stars because they have everything I look for in a product - they look good, the work exceptionally well (keep our beer cold), have a surprisingly large capacity, are durable, and are priced right. My sons were jealous of the one I bought myself, and we bought more. Ok, my wife is a sucker for whiny sons and she made me buy more. It's not my fault.

I just received my bottle yesterday and was happy with the appearance, though it was bigger than I thought it was going to be. I have several stainless steel bottles of different sizes and different companies. compared to the other bottles this one has the largest opening (which I am very happy about, easier to fit ice in). So today was the big test. I cooled the inside of the bottle before putting anything in it, then 8 ice cubes and filled with water. After a 10 hours work day in 70 plus degrees I still had ice at the end of the day(still about half the size of the original cubes). I think that even in warmer weather this bottle will work great.

I poured some ice cubes and cold water in morning to take with me. Temperature outside was 81*. This was at 8am and when I went to get water out of car it had spent 9 hrs in locked car at 94* it still had ice cubes floating in ice cold water!! I am definitely impressed.

It holds the temperature for a long time. Just load with ice for a few minutes then empty. Pour in your brewski and enjoy ofr a long time at just the right temperature. You could even use for other beverages.

I love the Lifeline growlers. I own this one and the taller, thinner model (7508). I prefer this model because it is slightly shorter and more wider so it fits in my refrigerator better. The taller Lifeline growler (7508) doesn't fit well in my fridge due to how I have my shelves set up. Order this beast today and fill with your favorite microbrew or locally brewed root beer. The vacuum section keeps the cold things on the inside cold.

Hawaii gets hot and there is nothing better to quench my thirst than ice cold water! This is the second Lifeline thermos we purchased and I am very happy with these buys. The water stays cold all day long and then some! Practically identical to the "Hydroflask" but much cheaper! Also, if you want to change out the lid, the hydroflask lid fits these water bottles perfectly...never had a leak!

I keep this in the trunk of my car and it comes in very handy when going to a brewery. I took this to a brewery the other day and 3 people commented how nice this growler looks compared to the standard glass growler.

I have found this growler holds the CO2 very nicely. You can tell how tight the seal is because when you open it up, you hear the release of the gasses.

I highly recommend this growler.

I am actually on my second one now. I bought them for half day fitness hikes but I now use them for everyday use. I don't like to use plastic because I don't like the taste (and other possible issues) and I don't want to use glass on a hike and risk accidently dropping one in the middle of a hike...so stainless was my main choice, but unfortunately the metallic taste was an unavoidable annoyance I had to deal with...or so I thought. This growler has virtually no metallic taste. I usually just put water in my bottles so this makes a bigger difference to me. I've used other 18/8 steel bottles but they have all had at least a slight metallic aftertaste from it. This one doesn't and this is coming from someone who is used to drinking out of glass. When I received mine, I washed it well the first time with baking soda as recommended. I think there is an initial metallic taste from manufacturing that you may get if you don't clean it as such. This technique doesn't work quite as well on my previous 18/8 steel canisters though.

The insulation on this is pretty good too. I've left one sitting in my car in the desert on a hot summer day having forgotten to bring it inside. Later that afternoon after working outside on some projects, I remember it and go to grab it thinking "crap its hot now!" but surprisingly it was somehow still cool even without having placed any ice in it. So far I've only used this for room temperature to cold beverages and I very rarely put any ice in it. I generally just refrigerate them in another container and fill this when ready to go.

One downside could possibly be the cap. You really need to pay attention to be sure it is threading down and not just spinning.
