This game is so much fun. You get to think outside of the box a little and you'll find yourself laughing on every round. It is similar to Apples to Apples but I find this to be much more fun because you get to be more creative with your answers. This is probably one of my favorite games that I've ever played with my family.

This is a great party game for friends, family, holidays or an office party. The game involves drawing two sets of cards. First, all players draw 5 cards which contain the name of an object, such as "baby blanket" or "jar of lightning bugs" or "wooden leg." Then, with the roll of a die, one player or team reads the "scenario" card, such as "A 90-year-old man invented a new exercise craze with this." All the teams then look at their 5 object cards and choose the best one to "pitch" as the answer to the scenario. The game involves imagination (how can a "beaver hat with earflaps" create an exercise craze?) and skill to come up with a convincing story for your answer. Teams collaborate by building their story together and delivering the pitch. I've played the game in teams as well as with individual players, and it's a hoot as everyone comes up with elaborate, zany stories and inventive solutions.

This would be a great game for people who are into improvisation that will entertain for a long time. The idea is to pitch a reason why your answer card best fits the picked scenario. With the die, there are many ways to play and judge these pitches. My favorite is the Pass roll where you hear a scenario, then pass to either the left or right (the die will indicate which) a card to the person next to you that you think will be the hardest to pitch (fit the scenario). There's also NO PITCH rolls where the roller has to pick what they think is the best object card for a specific scenario, so there is a great measure of thought behind what card you play.

I bought this at a Borders Going Out of Business sale not understanding the rules. I assumed a person took four cards and tried to use each object in your pitch for a scenario...which you CAN do and is a fantastic improv game. However, using the game instructions, the games was extremely enjoyable. Eight of us christened this game last night and we couldn't help but play three or four games (a game is won when one person wins three scenario cards (through having their pitches picked)), which meant about three hours of nonstop fun.

My family loves playing games, and we usually get a new one every year. This year, we bought Life's a Pitch, and we were not disappointed. We were all crying from laughter with my nephew's first "pitch," and it never slowed down. The more ridiculous the pitch, the more fun it became. It's a great game for anyone, but if your family has a lot of "BS" in them, you'll have even more fun!

"Life's a Pitch" is a card game that is like "Apples to Apples" but better. What i enjoy about this
game is that, you never do the same thing you did the last time you played it.
The few negatives about this game is that its not in a lot of stores ,and its only for ages twelve and up.

The cards in this game are about two and one half inches tall , and one and a half inches wide. The box is about as long as a piece of paper , and about two inches tall.

I played this game with my friend and her family for the first time and I absolutely loved it ! You go around the table trying to convince the judge why your card is the funniest. You can say anything its unpredictable thats what love about this game.

If you're the kind of person who loves to have fun with your family and friends then this is the game for you.But if you're the kind of person who hates to laugh and have fun ,then this isn't the game for you.

This product is one of the funniest games i've ever played.

We have had all our extended families visiting for Thanksgiving. Our tradition is to play games for four days straight. Life's A Pitch was by far the favorite! It's unique and really good way to learn more about each other.
