These are very nice, a good assortment of sizes, the lids snap on well. I just filled the big one with water and flipped it upside down on my counter, it is not leaking. They do not even have that stinky manufacturing smell this placers often comes with. I switched my kitchen a few years ago to all glass and stainless a few years ago because of BPA and phthalate leaching out of various plastics. But...glass is breakable. These are polypropylene, one of the only plastics that doesn't have leaching issues, and polypropylene is a cloudy colored plastic. Polycarbonate is clear, and leaches BPA. Tritan is... maybe fine but bloody expensive. PVC leaches phthalates. I'll take cloudy! Thanks for making safe food storage for me!
