Once I finally got the right opener, this thing works perfect.If you’ve researched which remote to buy and have been frustrated like me, I hope this will help; I’ll share my experience.My garage door opener, the actual motor that opens the door has an orange button. It even says the words “push the orange button” on the opener motor when trying to pair a new remote. So I followed the color on the button and the words on the motor and bought the respective remote - a 971. No worky.I should have done this to begin with but I looked on the one remote I did have that worked and it stated it was a 373. A little more research and the number at the end of the remote models represents th number is buttons the remote has. So my remote I already owned was a 3 button 300 series.300 series by my research are all supposed to be purple button motors.Well not so. I ordered a 371 since I just needed a one button remote, climbed the ladder and followed directions on the “orange button motor” for the purple button remote and it worked.Frustrating but Amazon was helpful with the return and it cost me nothing to finally get the right one.I posted a picture of my motor for reference if it helps anyone.
