Pros:
-Cool! We live on a busy street and people CONSTANTLY pull over and talk to us just to ask us where we got this ball.
-I have not had any issues with premature deflation so far. When you hold this thing, it almost feels like it should be hemorrhaging air, but it does not.
-BRIGHT! This isn't some faint light being put off, the whole ball glows orange/red and is 100% visible at dusk.
- Good grip!
- Water resistant!
- Battery life seems solid. Should easily get a whole year out of the batteries. The ball turns off after about 30-60 seconds of not being used. The light only turns on when you simulate or actually bounce it. You can toss it up in the air and catch it gently and the light will not activate. This is good if you transport the ball in a car or bag, as normal movements and light bumps will not drain the battery, but a real bouce always turns the lights on.

CONS:
- Not a "serious" ball. This is for playing in the driveway, or with kids. Not for a serious game of street ball.
- The plugs that hold the lights in can cause uneven bounces, but only if you bounce the ball right on the plug, and the plug is misaligned. If you check the plugs and make sure they are in flush, you can minimize this, but I dont see any perfect solution. With this ball you will have some slight mis-bounces, but nothing that will ruin a game.
- The ball feels like one day its just going to break, or stop holding air. It just has that "I will break one day in the not too distant future," feel to it. I can't really attest to this yet, but I will update my review if this happens. For the price, and for what it does, it is worth the cost even if it only lasts a year or two.

Overall worth the buck. Especially if you play ball at night or have kids.

This is a great product. I bought it for my son last year for Christmas. The light stopped working so I changed batteries but the light just flickered. I called the manufacturer and he explained the problem and is sending me a new casing for the batteries for free! Great customer service!!!! Highly recommend this product.

Looks and feels like a "real" basketball to the kiddos with the cool effect that it glows when bounced. Lots of fun in the late summer nights. Good to pair with a glow-in-the dark net. Be realistic when buying-- for the price you are not paying for something that will last you years of hard, regular use. Ours lasted about four months of almost daily use before the light started to dim, which is expected. I like that you can change the battery, which we haven't done yet, to increase the life of the product. Overall the ball has held up well and we're very pleased with it.

very cool. was skeptical a bit about the weight of LED and battery and ability to change the batteries, but its really well done. There is a cap-made out of same material as ball- that plugs to cover the access to LED and battery and it will hold in place. It lights up well and uniformly at night and was very enjoyable.

BTW, the ball bounces fine. Its an outside ball and not different than other outside balls we have played with
