Enhance your purchase
Eleanor Burnley has never been as fond of reading as everyone believes she should be. She's more concerned with having fun with her friends and avoiding her mother's constant scrutiny. But when she meets Gilbert Brooks, a mysterious, intelligent boy who also happens to be completely blind, she is thrust into a world of color and imagination she never thought it was possible to find in the pages of a book. Set in the libraries and schools of New York city in the 60's, Light My Sky is a story about a young girl navigating the challenges of friendship, family and love, and finding confidence in herself along the way.

I loved the charming characters in this book so much! The flow of the story and the vision you are given into this world of the characters was really well done. I definitely was left wanting more! I cannot wait to read more from this author.
