I would encourage everyone who feels the need to heal themselves and find their own message to study this book. This inspired collection of wise words will help anyone fore fill their life long goals and live a happier life.
Ms. Pehrson is transparent as she relates her personal trials and triumphs with intimate relationships and life encounters. Through these experiences she learns about herself - what she is and what she is not. She humbly acknowledges that it took more than her own intellect to overcome her weaknesses; to realize and move into the woman God created her to be.
Along with the testimonies of several other "Light Bearers," Ms. Pehrson shares the heavenly direction she used to grow emotionally, spiritually and how to implement that knowledge in business. She is not judging or preaching, but releasing wisdom as a last days sage.
In "Light the World: How Your Brilliance Can Shift the Planet," Ms. Pehrson's Christian interpretations are related in thought provoking parables and easy, how-to lessons. One such lesson is "The Parable of the Quartz," which is a revelation about inner transformation she gained through observing the qualities of quartz.
Her spiritual messages are deposited like gems throughout the pages of "Light the World." Although she clearly has a strong commitment to her preferred religious affiliation, at no point does she promote any denomination, thereby allowing the reader to transpose her guiding principles into their own belief system.
"A Light Bearer is a wise, intuitive, inspired creative who lovingly lights the way for others," Marnie Pehrson said. "A Light Bearer is passionate about assisting people in breaking free from bondage to ultimate freedom (whether the chains are of one's own making, generational or inflicted by others). They are courageous leaders for not only the rising generation but also for lifelong learners of any age."
If every man and woman were matched in marriage as well as how Marnie Pehrson matches her spiritual and business intuitiveness there would never be any divorces. Not only does she share the "how-to" of her own business success, but she includes the testimonies of several other entrepreneurs' experiences and tricks of the trade. She also offers a resource page with web addresses to point the reader in the direction that is right for them.
Ms. Pehrson's primary message is that "you have a message." Whether your message is purely spiritual, purely business or a combination, Ms. Perhson's goal is to help Light Bearers illuminate their message-product before the world.
I read this book in one afternoon in a hospital while my husband was having surgery. I could not put it down!
You will feel as though Marnie is right there opening up in raw honesty. She is transparent, honest, and forthright. She models for the reader authenticity, integrity, and purpose.
I fell in love with her down home southern style, like a long lost sister I never had.
Marnie will help bring out your message, your purpose, your calling and you will walk away with more clarity about your message than you ever thought possible.
She uses her own life as one example and parallels the lives of men and women of the Bible, including Jesus, to show the reader how not to hold back the messagethey are being called, by God, to deliver.
This is a must read!
She offers an good philosophy about conforming ourselves to the life God has called us to. I would recommend this for anyone interested in learning how to live to your higher calling.
