Deborah Finkelstein is an American poet, playwright, editor, and professor. She is the editor of Like One, an anthology of acclaimed poets from around the U.S. created to raise money for The One Fund, a charity that assists victims of the Boston Marathon Bombing. She writes free verse poetry, haiku, tanka, and villanelle. Her poetry has been published in anthologies and literary magazines in nine countries and translated into Japanese and Serbian. Recent publications include Lummox, Ibbetson Street, Magnolia, and Cradle Songs. She has had plays published in Audition Monologues for Young Women: Contemporary Audition Pieces for Aspiring Actresses and literary magazines. Her plays have been part of festivals around the U.S. Finkelstein teaches creative writing at North Shore Community College and Endicott College.
