With a group of damaged SEAL's arriving in the tiny struggling town of Serenity Springs, Aria Nixon is left confused at her feelings for one while she is equally drawn to another. But her aunt's predictions for her future are more irritating because although Aria has accepted herself as the 'plain' sister, she doesn't believe she should have to change her looks to catch the eye of a man. And who better to help her prove she can get noticed without a makeover than the one SEAL that she has befriended and finds so easy to talk to. Yet, Aria doesn't truly believe she deserves a hea when all she knows is everyone she loves leaving her.
Isaiah West is struggling to find his way in the town he and his team have landed in to help a pen-pal that befriended them while they were deployed. He has no family, no one was ever there for him when he needed them, so his go to when things go wrong is to leave, especially now that he is no longer able to help his team like he used to. But as he continues to help improve a struggling mystical town get on the map he begins to realize his heart is changing as he becomes part of the community. And there seems to be a woman that may be partly responsible for that change. The beautiful red head is quickly filling up a part of his heart as well, and that can't happen when he's promised to help her attract his very own team mate. Maybe it's time for Isaiah to hit the road.

Is really great to see them build themselves up, to the point of solving or rather making peace with their own issues and finding that second chance at life. Great writing by Kat Cantrell. Really looking forward to the next book in the series.
