Worst magnetic safe yet!

I bought this "Lil Donkey" because it appeared to be exactly like the Secret Safes only cheaper. I previously owned a Secret Safe for years until I gave it to my best friend as a wedding gift. Cheaper it certainly was, it arrived broken and shoddily manufactured as a cheap knock off. Instead of a bolt with a locknut Stash Donkey used a grommet! When I opened the box the head of this grommet was broken off and stuck to the magnet. I opened the box and the padding wasn't glued or taped in, I pulled out the bottom pad and could see the light of day through the center hole of the grommet, making it certainly not water proof or air tight as advertised. The grommet is also pulling strongly on the bottom of the box, which looks like it will eventually break in all likelihood. Secret Safes also paint their boxes to make them as subtle and incognito as possible, whereas these are super shiny shouting "I'm over here" to anyone who's looking. Wish I'd gone for the genuine article, I guess you get what you pay for 😡 I'm planning on drilling out the grommet and replacing it with a stainless steel bolt, rubber washer, and a lock nut like the original manufacturer does. Next time I'll spend a bit more a get the real thing!
