I also had one cashmere sweater with longer than regular yarn where the Lilly brush wasn't as effective, but I blame the non standard yarn.
I do have two comments:
1. the handle is a little awkward: I prefer to depill my clothes when they are lying flat on an ironing board, but the handle is made in such a shape that it gets in the way and you end up using only the tip of the brush
2. I thought the lid would snap on the the handle to make a longer handle (kind of like a pen cap), but it doesn't
Overall I'd definitely recommend - great for taking lint off too!
The brush works well on natural fibers per their email. I tried it on cotton, wool and some other fine knots. In situations without major fuzz, it worked really well. If the sweater is very fuzzy, it doesn't remove the fuzz completely (only a shaver can probably do that) but it does a very nice job of improving the surface considerably. Per the email below, doesn't work well on synthetic fibers, which is probably why I had trouble initially.
Also the brush is quite small (as others have mentioned). Maybe a larger size could also be introduced in the future.
Instructions in or on the box would also be very helpful.
We saw on the feedback and customer review page that you were not at all happy with your purchase,
and I wanted to take a moment to reach out to you to see if I could be helpful
with tips on how to use Lilly Brush.
SWEATERS: As advertised, Lilly Brush is a sweater brush for 100% natural fiber
knits. If there is a percentage of nylon or acrylic content in the sweater,
those fibers are longer and stronger than the more delicate cashmere, cotton wool, etc. fibers, and thus
must be torn, cut, sanded or shaved from affected garments. I am wondering if this is why the Redecker brush is more satisfactory to your purposes? Our concern is that it is a little too robust for a fine cashmere or cotton knit.Read more ›
Overall: Get this brush, you will have no regrets only softer than newly purchased sweaters. This is my best amazon purchase so far. It made the sweaters puffier/softer/more luscious in a way that I never expected, which was an added bonus because it de=ills so well. It did not thin the sweater out at all, which was something I was afraid of. If I could, I would give this product 10 stars. I still am in awe at how this little brush could actually "breathe new life" into my daily cashmere sweaters.
Caveat: I've never purchased a brush like this before, so I can't compare it to other brushes, but I wouldn't want to because this one works so darn well.

Tried on multiple clothes items but just kind of "brushes" the fabric without actually removing any of the pills or cat hair. Super disappointed.Published 28 days ago by iggyputty
