FIND YOUR BEST FITTING BRA
1) Wrap a tape measure snugly around your body and below your bust. After breathing out, take your measurement. If it's an even number that is your band size, but if it's an odd number, round up to the closest even number.

Unfortunately, so many bra manufacturers assume that as you go up sizes, the breast shape and position stays the same. It doesn't. A common bra problem I have is that even though I'm boobilishus, I have a small frame which ranges from a ribcage size of 32 to 34. Most 34DD bras just reduce the length of fabric in the back, but the front half is the same as 36, 38, and 40DD. All these large bra sizes are made for larger framed women, so have a large space - around 1 to 2 inches - in the front, between the cups. Since I'm tiny, that means that the bra cups are near my armpits, and my boobs spill out in the front, since nature packed them close. Not only does that give me dreaded quadraboobs, but it leaves a lot of cup unfilled, and just looks weird, because the cups stick out my sides like bug eyes. Minimizer bras have less interboob space in the front, so work perfectly for me.
Another problem is that natural big breasts aren't always perfectly shaped like half-grapefruits. and my substantial boobflesh doesn't fit naturally into molded cups. These soft cups have a lot of support and conform to my natural shape, but still look nice. Although the fabric is soft, there is a lot of support and I can walk at a brisk pace without worrying about looking like jello dessert. If you have large breasts, you know what I mean.
The one problem is that the soft fabric doesn't offer coverage for, how shall I say this, well, you know when...erm...that is, the natural response to a chill in the air. So when I wear this bra, I have to wear patterned fabric or layers.
If you have boobage of epic proportions, there really is no comfortable bra. But this is the most comfortable one I've used, and I highly recommend it.
More like largesse! The cups and band are generous and smooth! The "stitching" does not produce a relief; it's the same weight and profile as the double-layer half cup below it. The underwire & band are encased in a thick, lush, silken, double microfiber that smooths out underarm & back fat, making the underwire practically indistinguishable from the cup-- no pressing down hard on the lymph nodes that I've experienced with Olga, Wacoal & Playtex.
These Lilyette brassieres come in impossible-to-find colors in the larger sizes (I'm a 40DD); the red is Cinnamon Red Hots gorgeous! And I was not disappointed in the richness and color-fastness of the lavender and light blue, either. Finally, there are FOUR rows of FOUR hooks: a rare boon for big-breasted bra hunters! I usually only buy Anita bras from Germany, but once in a while a mass-brand surprises me with it's comfort, price and beauty. THIS is that bra!
I have traditionally been a Cacique bra wearer. This Christmas, my husband challenged me to use the $60 I would spend on a Cacique bra and try out some cheaper brands to see what I think about them. Now, I'm a 40DD and terribly lopsided. Here are the bras that I purchased for the challenge and my review for each!
Playtex Women's Playtex Body Revelations Underwire 2-Pack, Golden Cocoa/Nude Jacquard, 40DD - I would buy this pack again. They conceal my lopsidedness fairly well, they smooth things out, they look pretty, and they're super comfy. I gave them 5 stars.
Bali Women's Bali Tracings Minimizer Underwire Bra, Nude,40DD at first try was way too small and scratchy. I tried adjusting the straps but they didn't have much room to give. Kinda disappointed in this one because I like the way it... should... look. Oh well, you live, you learn! I gave it 2 stars.
Bali Women's One Smooth U Lace Side Support Underwire Bra, Light Beige, 40DD... this bra isn't the sexiest bra in the universe but it is oh so comfy. I like the way it feels and it fits really well. I don't have to worry too much about one side being bigger than the other. This bra does a great job of evening things out for me. Would buy again. I gave it 4 stars.Read more ›

LOVE this bra!! It supports, fits extremely well, doesn't ride up or straps falling down. The color works well under light clothes. I ordered 2 more.Published 6 days ago by JS
This bra is very comfortable. My only complaint is that the wire in the center comes up so high you can see it sticking out under my shirt.Published 7 days ago by Rla1724
