One other minor flaw is that if you stack them in the freezer with water in them to freeze, they will stick to each other because they nest rather than stack, that is to say the top one will sink into the bottom one and when frozen the ice cubes will be attached to the top one a little. Not a big deal and they can be pulled apart with just a little effort. They made them nest for compact shipping but they should have made them stack instead.
Other than that they work well, it's easy to get the ice out, just give them a twist then poke each cube out by pushing the rubber bottom or turn them over and twist to allow them to fall out.
I've only had these ice trays for a couple days but they're exactly what I needed. The ice fits perfectly into my bottles and I'd estimate that each piece of ice is roughly as much water as a standard ice cube. I also like the tray design and materials far more than classic plastic ice cube trays! They are marked as BPA free, and to get the ice out all you do is push gently on the bottom of the silicone molds. The ice pops right out. No wrestling to get ice out like with regular trays. And for someone like myself who keeps my nails short, I no longer have to try to dig a cube out if I didn't fill the tray enough.
Some reviews have mentioned not being able to stack these trays, but in my freezer there is room for two to sit side by side in the built-in ice tray shelf. Also, since I use insulated bottles (even at home) I don't go through ice quickly. So any inconvenience from the inability to stack these trays depends on your freezer situation and the rate at which you go through ice.
I'm so glad I ordered two sets of these so I'll ensure I have them for a long time!
The sticks pop out super easy by just pushing on the bottom and they come right out. I have used about 10 times with no breakage issues from the actual trays
