I bought this set for my five year old grandson along with other toys for a visit in our 900 square foot apartment. He loved the Lincoln Logs best and built a number of structures from this set. Several adults liked building with them too. He chose to take this box home with him taking up precious suitcase space.

My daughter-in-law asked if my wife and I could give these to our twin grandsons for Christmas. I was delighted because I remembering having them when I was their age (5 going on 6) and spent hours building cabins for stuff for my toy cars. My grandson, like me, are now spending hours building stuff for their lego people and matchbox cars.

I just bought this from Walmart for my son's birthday. These cannot be built over carpet, the pieces will fall over. Even on a flat surface, you barely touch it and it falls apart. This is not my memory of Lincoln Logs as a kid. It seems like the structures held together better and the pieces were more fitted back then. I would not recommend this to anyone. Also the lid to the box is not fitted. it just sits on top and there is nothing to hold it in.

Amidst all the opened Christmas gifts and wrappings, my seven year old Grandson opened the logs and immediately started building the little town within the container. I enjoyed watching his level of concentration and joy at replicating the scene on the the packaging.

I assumed that I was purchasing a product with the same quality as the old Lincoln Logs. Considering the prices is outrageous, I am very disappointed with these. We purchased two sets for xmas and the grooves are not deep enough. They fall over with the slightest breeze! Will not purchase these again.

I love Lincoln logs! It's differently one of the few toys that hasn't changed over the years. My Grandson has 3 boxes of them and can play for hours. It's good old fashion fun. These are a vital part of growing up. Take the electronics away and let your child's imagination be his guide!

This set of Lincoln Logs was very disappointing to me. It includes very few of the longer wood pieces and is mostly comprised of the tiniest logs. This means that essentially everything you build shifts and collapses. My son refuses to play with them. He asks me to build for him because he knows he can't do it himself. I can barely get the structures to stand. Forget actually *playing* with the houses.

Because I had purchased these for my boys when they were young and they were wood, I was disappointed that these were
sort of plastic like. At 67.00 I expected a little more in the quality department honestly.
