Joe Hart does it again, pulling you into his world, you end up reading this short in one go. The storyline was well though out, the characters well developed, the flow of events perfectly timed (really can't stand when other Authors drag things out to the point where you have to force yourself not to skip ahead).

Definitely a story I would recommend to friends and family members who like me, enjoy a good horror/thriller movie, story, etc. Great Read!

Tim kills someone but he didn't mean to. It was an accident: a piece of violence dished out to prove a point, gone horribly wrong. And now there's a guy lying at Tim's feet, and he has to enlist the help of his two friends, Denny and Jay, to dispose of the body. It's a surreal event turned into a nightmare . . . but the terror has only just begun.

This is a good little short story by Joe Hart. Well written, with great pace, and prose that drags the reader kicking and screaming into Tim's head as he stumbles through this delightfully macabre story to its delightfully macabre conclusion.

Ah, the consequences of our actions . . .

Joe Hart's "The Line Unseen" is short and sweet. Tim finds out his spouse is cheating on him, and he punches the man. Inexplicably, the man--much larger than Tim--falls down dead. After his friends help him bury the body, the fabric of reality starts to tear, and the man Tim killed is not resting easy.

This is a very short story and the plot is short but sweet. The outcomes are not unexpected, but some of the characters had more depth to them than I would have expected.

I received this book at a discount for my honest opinion. If you enjoy a good thriller you'll love The Line Unseen. Be warned, once you pick it up you will have to cancel any plans you have because you won't be able to put it down. A definite must read!

More good stuff from Joe Hart, this novella leading you to believe that the haunting will likely continue forever given the same mud the murder victim was buried in makes an appearance on the protagonist's very fingers. Very good book and I look forward to reading more from this author!

This was one of some three dozen novellas I found entertaining while on our week long summer vacation thru Ohio, Indiana, and Kentucky that I will be reviewing in roughly alphabetical order.

In a way, it's a shame that everyone that commits a murder, isn't haunted by their victims when they lay down to sleep.. What's even worse, is having such nightmares when you have NOT committed such a crime.
