I have been building my network on LinkedIn since 2007. I now have over 4,000 connections, and until I read Brynne's book, I had no idea what to do with them! I just emailed my business acquaintances. With this book, a whole world of social selling is introduced and now I know how I am going to benefit from my network. This book is meant for the advanced networker and the beginning networker. I see this book as a key reference. Read it before everyone else does!

Brynne Tillman gives a great step by step process of social selling - beginning with setting up your linkedin (personal / company) page, and into developing templates for reaching out to prospects.

I will be honest, at first glance, I was hesitant with the book and its format. The text is large with a lot of graphics, which made me feel like the book was less professional, however, I realized this is intentional as the book can be used as more of a workbook to set you up for success rather than a bunch of senseless rambling like most books today.

A great benefit to this book was the webinar included with the purchase, as it gave a live streaming step by step process to get started in social selling.

All in all, this is a great book. Straight to the point, thank you.

This book about how to use and leverage LinkedIn is like a cookbook in the kitchen! Mrs. Tillman clearly explains the many ways to utilize Linked-In's features from uploading videos, to connecting with people, and how to demonstrate your value whether you are in sales, promoting your company/service, or even in a career change. One of it's best features are the screen shots and sample wording to create 'warm' introductions which can make all the difference in the world when you are introducing yourself to another professional etc. As a new user to LinkedIn, this book has enabled me capitalize on the many features, and is laid out clearly, citing many other links, helpful tips and tools to use. Brynne's seminars are fantastic as well, and her instruction quickly helps bring individual's and companies up-to-speed with social media.

From the moment I had an opportunity to read this book I was convinced this was a winner. I know all too well how social media has changed the way sales people do business. Brynne has done a great job writting a 'how to' guide for anyone looking to leverage LinkedIn for sales. These are some of the top best practices for professionals using LinkedIn. A must read and will be a desk reference for a long time.

This is an excellent, easy-to-use guide to really leverage LinkedIn. The bonus is that you will learn that your LinkedIn strategy can lead you to your social selling strategy. You'll see sales in a whole new light. The concepts really work. Every professional salesperson should read this book.

I joined LinkedIn in May 2004. I consider myself to be an expert user of LinkedIn. Several years ago I wrote an eBook entitled "LinkedIn for Selling and Consulting". It receives positive feedback to this day. I tell you all this not to praise myself but to hopefully add weight to this review of Brynne Tillman's Linkedin Guidebook. It is a master class. Brynne does a great job of telling you how to use LinkedIn most effectively and efficiently. She then goes beyond LinkedIn and teaches you about Social Selling. She provides all you need to know to use the power of social connections to supercharge your business development efforts. And she doesn't stop there. She shares her specific disciplines that she uses to continue to build her very successful business. I was pleasantly surprised to learn about several new features in Linkedin about which I wasn't aware. This is a well spent $40, particularly when she throws unlimited access to her webinar on the same subject. I still get calls to teach LinkedIn. I refer all of them to Brynne Tillman.
