The item did not come with wiring diagram, but YouTube helped, since seller was completely helpless. There are + & - on each module except the three prong switch. However, one prong is brass, the others are silver. Brass prong is negative and Center is positive in. The outer silver prong is supply postitive and live when switch is on. Not much else to say. The item seems solid and works well, so far. I mounted the blank cover on the wall, drew out the circles then used 1 1/4” hole saw to drill out for holes, instead of trying to cut out a square.

Product looks sharp in our van, blue lights give it a nice techie glow. One gripe is that the mounting holes are so close to the edges of the faceplate that you need to cut your hole very precisely so the mounting screws bite into the support. I cut my hole 1/4" too large, and had to backfill with material for the screws to catch. If the faceplate were 1/2" larger in both dimensions, it would be an easier install. Also, the lack of a wiring diagram has been noted by other buyers. We soldered "spiders" together for the hot and neutral leads, then crimped the connectors on. It isn't pretty from the back, but luckily, we'll never have to look at that side.

I bought this knowing I wasnt going to use the switch or the plate. I mounted the voltage gauge usb and 12v cig port in a shift console i was making for my truck. The gauge is okay. I've noticed that the voltage isnt always spot on what the battery and a dvom were showing but its always within .2-.3 volts. The usb charge port works well and the wiring is easy for both ports. The back of each port gives you a + or - sign to tell you how to wire it up. Overall I'd give the product a 3.5 out of 5 because the supplied connectors are cheap and the ports and gauge are a bit long when trying to get them to fit in a tiny area. I'd recommend this to anyone who wants to add a voltage gauge or ports for charging but get better electrical connectors.

This is a nice power panel for 12VDC in an RV. The weird thing is it came without instructions showing the little switch is only SPST with the third terminal used as ground for the internal LED. Expecting a normal SPDT switch because of the three terminal configuration, it would be easy to wire it incorrectly. Some pieces of scrap wire are needed since only crimp connectors are provided. The size of the hole needed to clear the assembly leaves very little flange width for the mounting screws. Cut carefully.

I like this whole concept for an RV that is primarily "off grid" in that the LED display tells you how much juice you have on your battery.
Downside: this requires 4 holes drilled to emplace the control. The voltage display module requires a different sized drill hole to accommodate a shorter stem than the other devices (off/on switch, USB, cigarette lighter)

This is a great tool to have in the RV as we have no way to charge phones while boondocking. However, the voltmeter socket is very shallow, I found that it was too shallow to mount to the surface I was putting it on. I had to order a replacement voltmeter with USB to ensure it was long enough to go through the layers of material.

Maximum thickness of mounting material is only like 1/4in deep

The switch is a good addition to be sure not to drain the battery. I have mine wired to turn everything off when I'm done. By the way don't be expecting to pull currents greater than 5 A continuously. It will get warm because of the connection parts being on the light side. Not for a cigarette lighter either. It would have to be metal for that. It's plastic.

Appeared like a reasonable product but the USB ports stopped working after 30 minutes of use. The light flashes but the USB ports don’t supply power. Amazon’s was quick on the tech support and kindly offered a refund. That helps but I spent 1 1/2 hours to install and 30 minutes to remove it. I read the reviews and at least one other person had the same problem. If you are thinking about purchasing this unit from this manufacturer you are going to “roll the dice”. If you get a good one you win, if not you are going to save $20 and lose 2 hours.

overall the price if good for what it offered, however one major problem I encountered was when power was (correctly) applied to the voltmeter - it started to rapidly billow smoke .. scary. This is a deal breaker and I returning it as a result. Each item is a rather generic piece offered separately by many suppliers, this is just the most cost-effective way to buy them, however not worth the effort if part has failed and needs return (I am sure the company who sells this does not manufacture the voltmeter so no blame on the specific brand I bought.. it all rather generic)
